when do u mark your best response?

I usually leave it go for at least a week or even two. This gives enough time for people who are very busy working or have some personal matters to attend to. I give everyone a chance. Then I always make sure I do select someone from each discussion, and sometimes it's very, very hard to do because of so many good responses.

mychattime About two years ago when I joined mylot I use to decide on best response after a week. Later I found people take a longer time. Now I have over 50 discussions pending (unresolved) out of roughly 200+ and they are four/five month old. Even after best response is selected people can post responses and initiator can reply. Selecting best response doesn't give extra earnings to the member. It doesn't give any earning to the selector also. I suggest you take one month time to decide so that you get responses and then decide.

Sometimes it's difficult for me to mark the best response. Sometimes I took few weeks after all members that reply to my discussion has nothing left to say then only I decide to choose or could be I didn't choose any cause I didn't get the answer from their replies. But when I see someone continuesly giving add to the discussion, I prefer to choose this one though the answer he/she gave not really what I want.

They say its best to mark your respond a week to at least allow yourself to get full amount of respond to your topic as the best . I will wait a week but other time just 2-3 days . If I like a respond I will still like it at the ends of the week so I mark them whenever I feel satisfied .

I try and wait 2 full days to mark mine. I do this since we have so many people from all over the world here. Gives everyone at least a full day to respond to mine.

I Registered 3 days ago, but i thought, that i will mark the best responses when answers flow on that discussions seems to be over , then i read carefully all the discussion and decide which answer was the best. :) Happy mylotting!

For me, it often depends on the about of friends I have made here who take time to respond. I am sure their continues to go many myLot discussions meeting this category never seems to be put down and challenge. Too bad we cant all continue at this pace for life.

Either 4 weeks or when someone gives the kind of response I'm looking-for, whichever happens first.

I wait until my Question has been fully answered. Or I will wait a few days and mark the best one.
