Some of my favorite channels are dead

I had been in youtube for like 6 years and I just realized channels just come and go. there are channels that I followed before that have no new activity. It seemed like some youtubers got lazy to make new videos after their partnerships because their old videos are still earning anyway. While others just became gone for no reason while other youtubers quit because their channels cant have as much views. those channels i think are already dead but I still haven't unsubscribed I am still hoping that one day they will upload new contents. :(
One of my fave channels have no activity for 4 years already.

I had a favourite channel that closed down without warning once. I never found out what happened.

I have a favorite channel that closed down because its terminated for some violation I will never know.

Well, maybe they have found better activities than creating youtube videos :).
Yes, you are right, youtube channels come and go. Usually , when they stop making videos, they break contracts with youtube and stop earning money right away.

on the bright side, at least I can still watch their old videos when I feel nostalgic,but yeah its sad that they will never make new videos. I hope they were happy with their lives.

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. Well glad to know that u are a regular on You tube and i also feel the same that there are some channels which are not updating their videos. Although i am not a frequent visitor of You tube but still i also look out for some inspirational videos and off late have not got a good one. I also hope that the You tubers update the videos so that we get to see many more new videos in the future.

very interesting .i am a chinese studet .i use youtobe study english .if i found a channel didn't uploard new video ,i will not follow it .
