Stay informed. Vote yes vote no

I live in Minnesota and now they want to Vote on changing the const. Of Minnesota it reads a marriage is between a man and a woman. Well, That would mean. Vote Yes...... But then we have the fact it is not the goverments job. It is the church. So then that would be a NO vote. SO confused on how to vote on this one. Is there things you get confused on how to vote??
