You have already mentioned all necessary rules here in this post, still you have perhaps forgotten to mention a rule that is so essential.'Stop worrying.'.If you continue to worry about your problems and your family's future, you are prone to develop insomnia which is one of the root cause of heart related diseases. We all have problems, but we should try to solve them or at least try to solve them and leave the consequences on God.Although it is not easy, but certainly it is essential for cardiac health.

Our worries cause high blood pressure. They don't let us enjoy a sound sleep that is so essential for our overall health. And if we don't have a sound sleep,we are prone to fall pray to heart related diseases. Thanks for a good comment.

Nice share. I'd like to add up to your list to have a regular sleeping habit. If you're tired and if you haven't slept a lot, your heart tends to pump more blood in order to cope up with the activities that you are doing within the day. Getting enough amount of rest will help the heart pump normally, also helping you breathing properly. :)

Hello my friend amaine Ji, Well, so nice of you for your quick and immediate response, I still continue my discussion as below, due to yoiur positive response for benifit of all :- Qn: Is eating non-veg food (fish) good for the heart? Ans: No Qn: It's still a grave shock to hear that some apparently healthy person gets a cardiac arrest. How do we understand it in perspective? Ans: This is called silent attack; that is why we recommend everyone past the age of 30 to undergo routine health checkups. Qn: Are heart diseases hereditary? Ans: Yes Qn: What are the ways in which the heart is stressed? What practices do you suggest to de-stress? Ans: Change your attitude towards life. Do not look for perfection in everything in life. Qn: Is walking better than jogging or is more intensive exercise required to keep a healthy heart? Ans: Walking is better than jogging, since jogging leads to early fatigue and injury to joints Qn: You have done so much for the poor and needy. What has inspired you to do so? Ans: Mother Theresa, who was my patient. May God bless You and have a great time

Yes, these are some Great rules to help keep your Blood pressure down, as well as your weight. The problem often becomes when a person has other Health problems that prevent them from being able to do some of these things as well. Walking helps in a lot of ways besides just for your heart to help with everything, and sitting can be bad. Problem is a lot of the better jobs out there require a person sitting for long hrs.

My mother is a heart patient. She had been in and out of hospital for the last few years. The doctor told her that she had an enlarged heart which require surgery but due to her age it is not possible as it is too risky. Her heart problem also resulted in her being anaemic. She is under different doses of medications and we monitor her diet so everything is under control. I am thankful that I did not inherit her heart problem but my long taking of BP medications has affected my kidney and the doctor is worried that I will suffer renal failure if my BP is uncontrolled. I have to be strict with my diet and exercise as what the doctor told me.
