Hi to all of you.
I am a new member from Greece.
As you know the situation here is not good. Politicians and some people are rich but most of the people is having problems.
Everyday taxes, taxes, taxes and people losing their jobs.
As i think it's not just Greece's problem as you can see that and the other PIIGS countries have the same problem.
I am not saying that the Greeks have no responsibility for this but the simple citizens (like me) are suffering.
What's your opinion?

I'm from the states and sadly we're facing some of the same problems. People are losing their jobs left and right and struggling just to make ends meat. It always bothered me too how some people live in houses with 1000 rooms and have 50 sports cars meanwhile someone else is just trying to feed their family or keep the lights on. I've heard many countries have been suffering these past few years.

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. Well it was really shocking for me to hear such pathetic condition of the Greece people. I think this situation is present in most of the countries where rich people, politicians and bureucrats are enjoying a luxurious life at the cost of the general people. They do not even care for what people are going through in their lives. I think u should calm down yourself and think of an alternative that will help u come out of this situation.
What say?

Everyday my friend we dont know what is happening.
Taxes for everything, taxes for having house, taxes for having car, more taxes for the wage which has decreased about 20-30% (for those who still have jobs), taxes for loans, taxes for having KIDS!
And the cost of life every day is higher.
They dicreased the wages but they let the big companies to have high prices.
For example
Basic wage 586 Euros/month
bread 0,60
gas 0,92
oil 1,40
petrol 1,70
hamburger-sandwich 2-3
milk 1,35/lit
apples 1,5/kg
bananas 2/kg
