how do you go to work: free company bus, paid company bus or own car?

my little sister used to wake up very early, before the sun even, to rush to work. now, she waits for the company bus. the bus is provided gratis by the company. this is really nice of them and good for her. i wonder how many of us share this privilege? or do you go to work in your own cars? or in a van pool i.e do you have to pay for the company bus at month end rather than ride gratis?

I work and live on campus. Therefore I don't need to take a bus or drive a car to work. It is a few minutes' walk, but I ride my bike usually to get to my office. It saves more time this way. Take care.

I do not live far from my place of work, so it is possible to walk if need be. Nevertheless, I rarely bother walking and use a variety of transport methods.
A work colleague usually gives me a lift in his car these days, but if he is working early or on holiday then I often use a taxi. The journey home is fairly similar because I get regular lifts from a selection of people, which certainly makes the journey much easier.

i can see your avatar doing the walk also. you must have caring friends, asylum. how i envy you. i walk from home to the shop where i do trading. it is not very far and by the way, i take it as a daily exercise because when i return home in the evenings, i spend some time earning cents from sites like mylot. it helps to keep the brains alive and to communicate on social networks also.

I dont work in the same city or county tgat i kice in so therefor i drive my own vehicle to work and its about a fifteen minute drive so its not bad right now. Its konger if i stay at my boyfriends but i dont mind the drive. Now there are car pools around town but if i drive guys to wiek they would not have a way to get to jobs if they didnt drive so even the guys at work all drive their own teucks to work too

I travel by car. I just picked up a new job that is only 5 miles (8km) away from me. It would be nice to travel by bus, but the buses here are so terrible that it is a faster option. It's either a 10 minute drive or a 40-50 minute bus ride. What's worse is that because of the bus far, it is actually cheaper for me to drive, even with the current fuel prices, than the bus fare.

when i worked in a toll gate we used company vehicle going to our booth or zone,and that vehicle will only wait for 30 minutes in the meeting place before it will go,so i need to be there very early to have a free ride going to my work.i don't like to drive my won car because i am afraid to drive it.

hi,
I am retired person. But when I was doing job I go to company by company's bus. The bus used to come near our house. So it was very convenient for me. My son used to go by company's cab. This cab come to pick him to our building. He don't have to walk fr the bus. He is very lucky.
