There are several employees from different provinces who came to the regional office for the recently conducted examination in relation to our job. Some came from island provinces and need to stay for another day because they cannot just go home because they have to wait for the next schedule of the ferry boat.
One of my friends from the island province was complaining about the high fees at the hotel and hope that somebody would offer her a place to stay for overnight. So I told her that is she can stay with us if she is wants, although I informed her that our house may not be very convenient for her because it needs to be repaired and we are still saving some amount for that project. She sad it would be okay for her.
So I let her stay in the house and I am happy that I was able to help her even in a small way.
Have a nice day everyone!

Hi sir nic!
How are you today? Thank you for appreciating this simple act. I know you are also like me who is willing to share whatever we have to others. I must be thankful that I was given a chance to do good things to others. Seldom that we are given this chance.
Have a nice day!

My husband and I have let people stay the night when it will help them out. In the past we have been a close alternative to a wedding or other event, and our friends that were traveling out of state, stayed at our house. We get the added bonus of extra time with them, and they get the bonus of a less expensive weekend away.

Hi asyria!
I'm happy to know that you are also doing the same thing to your friends. I also enjoy it because we were able to have a great time together. It's a good feeling if we can help others even in a little way.
Have a nice day!

That is a wonderful thing to do for someone. When things don't work out transportation wise and money is low enough that other options would put someone out, it is hard to ask, or even imagine someone saying come and stay with us. Again a wonderful thing you did for your friend at work.

Hi pegasus!
Actually, if our house is big and beautiful or even just comfortable like having additional rooms for guest, I would not hesitate to ask everyone who live in other places to stay with us. I would even announce it to everyone.
Thank you for sharing!

Hi magz!
I think there are still a lot of people who will do the same thing as I did if given the situation. I should be thankful that I was given a chance to do good things.
Have a nice day!

I am sure your friend is happy with the offer.
Not to mention that she was able to save money.
It's not the comfort that matters on this situation, but the kindness that you offer.
She was able to save money and have sometime to bond with you as well.

Hi jaiho!
Yes, that is the reason why I decided to offer her to stay with us although I am not sure if she would like the place. But I think she is also okay with the place. She could instead use the money to buy something for her children.
Thank you for sharing!

You've got such a kind heart, ARIES! I know a lot would be thinking the same but would be stopped with the thought that the person they are letting to stay with them might turn out like somebody who would rob them and other things like that. But I guess, you want to help somebody. And that is all that matters.

Hi jen!
I know the person because we are working in one department/agency. I am always willing to help as long as I can afford. Like this case where I would not be needing additional expenses I order to help.
Thank you for sharing!

Oh your so kind and generous.Well I guess its our nature to be hospitable as long as we can.We used to offer our house to people or friends that we know to stay overnight especially those who live far to avoid unnecessary things that might happen in the road in the middle of the night.

Hi ardoy!
I think this kind of character is true to all the Filipinos. We are always ready to offer what we can in order to ease the burden of some friends or anybody who might be needing our help.
Thank you for sharing!

Sure, the hotel has lost a custom because of your hospitality. Well, anyway, it is so nice for the traveller to find a way to save money for herself.

Hi poesidon!
He he! I will not be offering my place if she did not ask for it. The reason as I have stated is that my house is not a comfortable place because we still have to repair it. It was damaged by the typhoon several years ago.
Have a nice day!

Your friend is lucky. Sometimes hotels and other apartelles would really take advantage of events like this to raise their rates and maximize profits since they know that their occupancy will be high. Well, business is business, but of course if it is beyond the budget then the best thing to do is look for some good friends who wouldn't mind the trouble of putting up with an additional person for a couple of nights. Also, nothing beats a decent, home cooked meal anytime! of course if I'm your friend, I would also try to "compensate" my hosts for the trouble. I wouldn't want to offend them though by putting in cash for their hospitality, but I think some reasonable amount for additional grocery funds or some other token perhaps.

Hi Raine!
I am not thinking about it. For me it's enough that I could help others in times like this. My husband would really cook something especial during times like this. If only we have known earlier of several days before, that she will be staying with us, I'm sure my husband will have ordered some special sea foods for the visitor.
Thank you for sharing!

That so nice.. It feels awesome when we help someone who is really in a problem. And it is our duty as human being to help others. Because maybe some day we will need help.

Yes, it is really a good feeling if we can help others. We are friends and I am for sure that she will do the same had I been on the same situation.
