at least, the time for chelsea taking revenge appear..
they meet again MU in league cup
and finally they win..
after the controversial games in EPL when MU win 3-2....chelsea win 5-4 against MU in league cup..
good game for chelsea..
Sir Alex ferguson even make trial in this game..
he plays a unexperienced defender in this game
maybe it`s one factor why chelsea dominate in this games..
do you know who is central defender of MU last night??
Sir alex ferguson play Michael keane (19 years old) and Scott Wootton (20 years old) as the central defender
Sir Alex said he makes gambling..but he must do it..It`s not easy for wootton and keane.....It`s easy for playing a younger forward but it`s not easy play younger defender
But Sir alex didn`t blame his younger defender because he believes his younger defender will learn from this game and of course it`s not easy games for the younger defender
do you believe that it`s good decision from Sir Alex?/
what about the chance for chelsea in this cuP??

I have seen the extra time and I have to say that Chelsea benefited a lot from the blunders these two young defenders did. Chelsea has played with almost the best squad, United mostly with youngsters and still they were equalized in the last minuted of the regular time. I consider that Ferguson did well to give chances to the youngsters, because it is important for them to play difficult games also. The experience of a game like this helps a young player a lot and I am sure it is better to gather experience in a less important competition, because it is not a big deal to be eliminated from the less important competition of England.

yes of course
the unexperienced defender makes blunder because they are panic
when the extra time and need concentration, the club need an experienced leader in front of goalkeeper..
he command his team-mate for calm down..
i think it`s too risky for one team play together 2 unexperienced defender..

But nothing happened, United has been knocked out from the least important competition of the season. So it is natural to give chances to the youngsters and give a rest for the regular 11.

Both teams made a lot of changes to the starting lineup from last weekend. But that did not take away any of the fire from the contest. Again the defensive woes of both teams were exposed. And there were 4 goals from Man United including a goal from Chicharito who just seems to love to score against Chelsea. But unlike on Sunday, Chelsea were able to outscore Manchester thanks to two penalties and really shaking defense by Man United. There was also another yellow card for Jan Obi Mikel!!
Cheers!

Actually I think he is right. The ball did hit the Manchester United defender and he had his arm completely spread out. I think if he had not spread his hand, I would have said it would have been more a case of ball to hand rather than hand to ball.
Cheers!

sport is activities where two competitor where one team won and other lost.winner had taken some wrong decisions and adopted the some unsuitable startegy during the game always hide from their success behind.Usually most of team should never analyze during the game if they won the game. Both teams are Mine favorite and its competition both teams which is showed a real spirit in the whole game.Sir Alex had take the some bold steps with their playing policy and inter the young legs particular game.Because every big player has a time to play the sport specially football. He makes their decisions for future. So just enjoy as sport.A particular day every thing go to winner way like as hard work luck and so on.............

It is really unexpected winning.
I have enjoyed the game really. As you said it is look like revenge and time to pay back. However they equally shown their performance and entertain all their fans.
Its could be fun to watch another match in old Trafford.
Lets see what will happen?

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. Well yes, some days back Man U handed Chelsea a defeat and now it was tables turned for Man U who lost out to Chelsea. I have always fancied the long rivalry that is between the two great teams and whenever both the teams have fought with each other, there has been close scores and lots of excitement and emotions attached to it. It will definitely serve as a morale boosting victory for the Chelsea team.
What say?

I am afriad that Wotton will lose his confidence! He made 2 huge mistakes. One is giving off a penalty in the last minute. Another is for the first Chelsea goal in the extra time. Other players are playing well especially Kean. Lindegaard is solid.
And because Man Utd successfully force Chelsea to let Oscar and Hazard come off the bench, it would be possible that Chelsea's match against Swansea would be influenced because of the lack of energy. If Chelsea finally lose to Swansea, the lost for Man Utd is worth it.

I think it was just what Chelsea needed as many felt the league game was a bit off and controversial(regardless United got full points which is that counts). There are many more games to come this season so may the best and fittest team win.

The fact that Sir Alex choose to play with two very young and unexperienced defenders and used other substitutes as well while resting key players like Van Persie shows that he wasn't extremely interested in that competition;it was more important for him to give those players the chance to play against a great opponents and, even if they committed mistakes, the experience they accumulated is very important for their development. On the other hand Chelsea used more players from the first squad and their success is logical;even so,they could have lost again against a MU squad made mostly of substitutes, and that would not an honorable result for them.Anyway, this win comes at the right moment for Chelsea, boosting their morale boosting their morale after the injustice they suffered on Sunday, when the referee simply robbed them of at least a point.Chelsea needed this win to be back on the right track and I'm sure they will play some great matches both in the league and especially in the Champions League where they're not in a comfortable position.

Kudos to Chelsea for their fighting spirit! After the controversial lost last weekend to Manchester United, it was not easy for them to fight back from a goal down not once but thrice, against the same opponent! Obviously both managers did not regard the League Cup as their priority this season and so they did not send out their best team for the match but both teams were still strong enough to match and beat a lot of other EPL teams. Maybe the League Cup can be seen as the FA Cup for the B teams.
Young and inexperienced players have to play to learn. Playing in those not-so-important games could let them accumulate playing time and feel what the real thing is like, without being under too much pressure like in those do-or-die games.
Chelsea is a force to be respected. Di Matteo has done a good job.
