What to do when you are borded

I always try to live happy life dont feel boring but if some time feel boring then Watching TV or hear the songs specially old or join mylot to spend time.

I come and visit mylot of course! Okay, so other than playing on the computer when I'm bored, I find a good book to read, I on music and dance, take a nap, I have gotten back into a lot of things I lost track of during the years. I started decorating cakes again, photography and calligraphy. For a long time, I lost track of being someone everyone else needed me to be, mom, wife, so now I'm just trying to be me again. don't get me wrong, I'm still mom, my kids are just old enough now that they don't need me 24/7.

Hello MoonGypsy I also feel the same way sometimes especially when I'm alone in my room. If ever I feel so bored I just sleep while listening to my favorite mellow music and love songs. I can play my favorite computer game like Plants vs. Zombies..:) It's my ways to divert my mood.lol Thanks for sharing ^_^

When i get bored, i kill my time watching TV,browsing the computer, chatting with my friends, working out, doing music, photography, and most probably shopping/going to the mall. That in a way, can kill my time. But at the moment, i am too preoccupied with work so it's a good way to get to earn more and be productive than being lazy all borded up.

When I am bored I have a tendency to call or text my friends, look at mylot, troll my facebook account, play video games, and sometimes watch a movie. Sounds like you may need a hobby. I'd think about some things that interest your and try to take up an activity to your liking.

I curl up with a good book or a good movie and appreciate the down time. Sometimes I take a nice long bath and then do a "pamper me" session.

I don't get bored. Seriously. I can stare into nothing or lie down just thinking. The only time I can probably get bored is when I'm waiting on very long lines, but if I have my phone with me I can get lost playing games or what else but mylotting of course!

Bored and borded are two different things. Being bored can be good for those who are artistic and self starters. Imaginations are good in cases of boredom. Having down time is good for all to get re-organized and decide what they need to do next. Boring just means you need to start establishing something new to do.

Web browsing works wonders :) E.g: mylotting, surfing for costumes, manga streaming, anime hunting and contributing a lot to our online community and otaku team. I also do sewing and drawing when I'm at it. Thanks and happy mylotting :)

I am never bored, I always have one or two books to read, I can do some yoga or meditate, there is always something that needs doing, so how could I possibly be bored?

I think I'm like you in that I'd rather be bored than super busy with tons of stuff to be done. Being bored is a nice change after having to go to work and take care of all my schoolwork, which can sometimes stress me out. So on days where I don't have anything to do, I like to stay home and relax, come on myLot, and sometimes I'll pick up my room a bit. If it's a yucky day outside I'll lay in my bed and watch movies or tv. Ever since this past summer I've been trying to get through tv series that I've always wanted to watch. I made a list of them and so far I'm still on my first series, House. I've seen episodes here and there but I'm the type of person who likes to watch something from beginning to end and it bugs me when I start in the middle. So whenever I have down time I've been watching episodes. I'm on the 7th season and once I finish this series I'll move on to the next series I want to watch from beginning to end.

There are really a lot of things I do when I am bored such as playing the guitar, watching tv, surfing the net or even strolling in our neighborhood. But the most common among such activities would be surfing the net.

Im lucky, I really dont have time to get bored. I need more hours in a day to finish what I need to do. If I ever have any extra time. I cook, or read emails.

when i am bored, i walk over to a friend's house and chat just for the sake of chatting. if no one is at home, i just walk over to the road and watch the traffic

I will simply sit in front of internet and start surfing some information which i was lack of my knowledge. I do love to spend my time with my kid all the time. Ofcourse i never feel bored with her.

Is it possible you have way too much stuff and that is why you are bored? I don't think you need much fantasy or creativity to do what you like to do if everything is there to realize it already. It is the same with (little) kids.. the more toys the less they know what to play with. Perhaps a big clean up will help you plus making plans what to do and how to get the stuff you need for free! Or use packages (yes your garbage) to be creative with). Also there is nothing wrong with being able to do nothing also. I can't remember the last time I ever been bored, if I ever was, so I guess this all has to do with character as well.
