I have nothing against Taylor, and I admit that she is indeed a talented songwriter, but I think she's turning to be more Pop than Country. No offense to Taylor's fans though, her best album for me is still Fearless.

I thought she was a pop star. Once you cross over you can put pop first. I like Red but it definitely is not a pur country song.

I agree very much! Taylor still though is one of the best lyricist in the current pop/country scene. :)

I agree completely! I love her music because it is fun and can put you it a great mood. Country music is not the same anymore period. There are only a few people that actually have the sounds of what you would call country. I think a lot of them should be put in the pop category besides Taylor. I heard Carrie Underwood's new song the other day and it sure doesn't fit in the country category. I was raised on Merle, Willie, Waylon, and Hank, and that is what I consider country, but I have to admit I am not a country fan..I am a rock fan and am starting to listen to more pop because of my teenage girl, I really love the spunky music especially the way it makes me feel. So Taylor may not fit in the country category, but she is certainly doing something right!

Yeah, just the right words to say! I am not really a music expert or a hardcore fan of multiple music genres, but I know (with limited knowledge of course) one when I hear one! Carrie and Taylor had their moments, but well, I have to give credits to them for expanding their brands. I guess you'll not gonna last in the industry if your not doing something new. By the way, I love Carrie's Carnival Ride, but speaking of AI alums, I would likely choose Kelly. Hahahahah!~

Yes Taylor swift came to us at the very beginning was as a beautiful and talented songwriter in country music,I enjoy her song very much at that time,"Fearless"also is my favourite album.But things change,people change,Taylor also can change her style and become a mix singer in country music and pop music."Red" also is amazing,I still love Taylor very much.

I love taylor! she is really talented and I really love her songs especially her new songs.. It doesn't matter if there are negative comments about her, the mos important is that she inspires so many people. :)
