Cat thinks he's a bird!

I have two cats and one of them must think he's a bird because he likes to sit on your shoulder. Even when I have company he will decide between me and them and find his way to your shoulders. He also like to eat peoples hair! My hair is very long and he loves to get as far into it as he can then settles there for a snooze! Some people don't mind and there are others who when they come in I have to make sure Bubba doesn't try to get on them. When he's under my hair I can feel him relax and start purring. Does he think he's a bird????

My one cat will do this since she was a kitten. She will climb up and lay over your shoulder and just sit there.

Wow and I thought he was the only one. She did do the same thing when she was a kitten also.

I thought it was cute, but now as she's older she weighs a lot more. But she will just lay there like a rag doll, and not make a sound. I think some cats do it because of the warmth, being close to someone, and security.

Hello, That certainly is very cute! You know, every single cat have its own personality and act unique, like every other animal. They often adapt to their owners and try to copy them. Maybe it's thing she enjoys to do, it doesn't mean she think she is bird haha :D. Happy myLotting!

One of my cats knows when I'm going out and will head for the door before me but I can't let him out so I have to take my keys out quietly so he won't hear them. He's a sly guy!

That is funny! I just hope your cat-bird doesn't try to fly! I don't know how to answer this, whether he thinks he's a cat or a bird, I wouldn't know but it sounds like he loves being your cat!

your cat is such an adorable cat. i also have this cat,JJ .i call him he think he a dog maybe.. like to play catch..hehe.. he have this small star pillow he really love to play with.whenever i throw it,he will pick it up n play with it..

I used to have a white cat. She is very cute! Cats always catch people's eyes
