I am back to being a stay at home mom after 4 years and I TRUELY never realized how busy my life was as a working mom and wife.
When I was working I was always in a rush and had to be places by a certain time and it took a complete toll on my body.
During these past couple years I was always stressed out because I hated my job which triggered health issues, my daughter has several health issues which required a huge amount of my time, maintaining the household while being a good wife.
I don't know how I managed! Now that I'm home I can take my time, enjoy scenery, exercise and focus on being healthy, actually get some rest while my kids are in school, go to appoinments without having to work around my super busy schedule, etc.
Its like a burden lifted off my shoulders, I am no longer stressed, I am content, and can enjoy life and motherhood!!!!

I always say life is too short to be unhappy, I realized this when I was younger and I was in a job I hated, I was being bullied by the boss and he treated me like a child it was so wrong, and the pay wasn't that good, so I thought why am I doing this? So one day I went in and gave in my notice. Do you know it was the best thing I ever did. I was so unhappy there and it was affecting my health. I know we need to work to earn money, but if it's at the expense of our health then our health has to come first. Stress is one of the greatest killers, in our fast paced life, not many of us find time to actually relax and appreciate the little things we have. Enjoy your contentment, your worth it. you only get one shot at life!

There is nothing better than being truly dedicated to your kids. I also get more satisfaction from being around mine instead of working like crazy and lose touch with my children. Now I have a 10-month-old baby and he takes all of my attention. I can't imagine hiring a nanny to help me because I just love being around him so much. I am sure the best and most meaningful thing in life is being a dedicated parent.

As long as you are happy staying home, it is a good thing! When my kids were younger, I was working off and on, home with the kids more than I was working, though. I think it's good to be home with the kids instead of someone else watching them and imposing their thoughts and beliefs on them.
After a while I get bored staying home and miss the extra income.
When I do go to work, people think I'm crazy when I tell them that coming to work is like a vacation for me!
Bad thing when I'm home, I get in a rut instead of a routine and nothing gets done because at first it seems like I have all the time in the world and next thing I know, it's time to make dinner or the kids are coming home from school.

Yes, I also feel that staying at home take off my stress, I was working all the while at the office, but now I choose freelance work which requires me to go out sometimes and most of the time I am at home doing online work. You can work at home too, like online computer when you are free, money is little still a money.
