Busted!

On the way to work this morning, I heard news from the radio that a young driver was doing burn-out on some streets when being spotted by an unmarked police car carrying the Police Commissioner and Traffic Controller Chief themselves! Talk about being caught red handed and, really, the young man could not have picked any worse timing! Needless to say he was reprimanded and penalized big time! Would you know of such situations or have similar experience yourself?

Oh, it's when you spin the tires of your car really fast (wheel spinning) while the car is close to stationary. The car does not move until the driver "pops" the car into motion. It causes a lot of squealing, smoke, and burnt rubber. It's fine to be done at drag racing arena; but when it's done on regular streets it's dangerous and I think the young driver was most probably showing off. He could be considered a hoon or someone who is speeding and a reckless driver. Here they'll impound your car for 28 days and suspend your driver license for 90 days if caught hooning.

I think he was driving some type of a new sport car. Still, the Police Commissioner and Chief were not impressed at all. They'll impound it even if it is a brand new Ferrari!

The cops should get their own Ferraris.

That's really the worst day for that driver, but it serves him right. What he was doing could endanger others. Although it's not the same as what happened there, where I'm from, there was an incident of a cop trying to extort money from a young driver. What that cop didn't know was that the driver was the son of the newly appointed police director of the metropolitan area. The cop lost his job.

He's so busted! That's why it is so important to always try to do the right thing. We'll never know when we'll run out of luck, won't we?

Haha, busted is right, and he deserved it too I think he picked the right day to do it, that way the police is just around to catch him in the act I hate when people do that, all the noise and smoke! I don't have s similar story to tell though, at least not about people getting caught red-handed
