I don't know how are you with it but I don't like tablets. Too big to carry it in your pocket. No mouse, keyboard and enough power to use it as a PC. And I don't think it can replace an E-book. I mean if you use it to make calls and play you deplete it's battery and also the screen gets dirty a bit.
If you use a tablet why did you choice that. No offence, I'm just interested why people choice it.

No handy gadget would replace a desktop/laptop computer. Although tablets are good gagdgets, they too have limitations. Tablets are only good if you are using it as a handy portable device. Not as a second option computer... It's nice to use it indoors like in a cafe,or just in a wifi'd lounge... But if you use it for going out or so, it's not the convenient. Since it looks so bulky and all.

A netbook is as big as a tablet. I mean it's bag isn't too large. I type a lot on Mylot or Microsoft Office so I need a normal computer. I couldn't use a tablet. For me tablet is a game console!

Sure do, you can use a tablet in some ways you want to use it be it a game console,an ebook, or a web-browser. It's still a good device though.

Hi csabaholcz,
You're right that tablets are not ideal for some uses like as in a mobile phone. I too find it rather big and clumsy. However I think tablets are excellent for surfing the internet and looking for information. Imagine you are on holiday in a strange city and you could survive and navigate our way around without much problems if you have a tablet handy. You 'll not lose your way as there're so many good maps availble nowadays. You could get in touch vis email. You could book tickets for shows, find out which restaurant or eatery to go for that scrumptious and affordable dinner. It's the portability and convenience of a tablet pc that attracts users. Yes tablets do have their advantages and I believe the tablet market will grow and overtake laptops.

I want a netbook! I think netbooks won't fall because people will still need a good keyboard and mouse!

Well it all comes down to personal preference when choosing what to use. I have a desktop pc, a laptop, an ipad and a smartphone. But I use all of them according to convenience.
When going to a cafe and wanting to surf the internet there, I don't want to bring a laptop because its heavy so I bring my ipad instead. Although a smartphone can do the job, the screen is just too small and its inconvenient to have to zoom in and out all the time when reading text.
