When did you start using the internet?

well im not like the other people who use computer for ages and they are really good at it i just got my internet connection and my laptop about 5 years but not often using it until i become a mylotter

Hi :) I started using internet before 3 years.

I'm a kid of the 50's and I got my first pc in 1999. I've been hooked ever since. It took me a while to really get the hang of the world wide web but interestingly enough, my journey really started with Neopets as well. I'm still there and visit every day.

Using internet for the first time is 10 years ago. When first time i was using internet i don't understand how to operate that.One thing that i wanna do is just looking for rockstar picture.Then i've got lesson from my friends about internet.First,i really like chat with MIRC,at there i found my wife now.Second,now i really like to make money online.I join with many sites with free register and paid some members.Mylot is one of them.Beside that i sell my product on internet.

My first use of computer/internet when I applied a caregiver to come to Canada. OMG, I hold the mouse so tight because I didn't know how to point it out. My brother and my friends laughed out loud at me. It was not funny at all to me that time, BTW, first time I touched computer in the year 2004.

It was in the year of 2003 that I started to touch the Internet because of the first laptop I had. Before that, I only used the computer for the Internet, but I was not capable of using it due to my lack of computer knowledge. Thanks to the invention of the computer as well as the popularity of it, I am getting to know more and more about it. It is hard to imagine to live without a computer and the Internet connection. I started using the internet when I was in high school, it was around the year 1994 when the internet was still young in our country. My father was one of the first few people who got an internet account and a webpage and got 10hours internet use. It was so young then that we couldn't even consume all the 10hours! Now, 10 hours is but a day's use, even less. Have a great mylot experience ahead!

I have started using internet when i was in my first year university. It was in year 2003. I did not have any computer at home so i had to just wait for the time.hah. you will laugh at me but i started off with social networking and chat sites.. i used to chat on fijilive all the time. the best thing was there were almost 8 computer labs in university and more than 40 computers in one lab. God so many students and so many computers. all sitting and doing same thing..haha. I used to stay on campus and it means 24 hours in university and on top of that the labs are open 24 hours and on top of that the net was in all computers and on top of that the net was free of charge. I used to surf when I am already in college for my course is Information Technology.Like you, when I was young, computers was not that so popular to use because only the wealthy can afford to buy. But as time goes by, it is already a necessity for the children because it helps a lot in their projects and to those family who has love ones abroad for them to communicate regularly.

It the same with me I think. I remember that laptops are only for those who has loads of money. lol! But now.. I have my own internet connection already, unlike before when I only rely on my boss's prepaid internet connection. It's also true that even children as five years old knows how to fb and visits other sites.

I am also a 90's kid.I don't know what is the network, until I after high school.We first use the contact network is qq and play some online games. In our China's Internet development soon,also have a lot of large network company. Now the Internet has a lot of can play, such as watching news, watching video, chatting, playing games, write small bo. Now the network convenience to people's life

My first internet use was also through a dial-up connection as well. But I guess my first internet use was around the 90s too. I think I was like third or fourth grader only at that time. My aunt bought a personal computer for her work that time since she needed to also work at home aside from her office duties. That's when I first had the chance to surf the internet. :)

i started to use internet when i was in high school, about in the late 90's.. however i have not appreciated it much because of limited knowledge about it. but in recent years, as new applications and new technologies arises, i spend most of my spare time on the internet trying to find solutions in almost all of my questions and discovering new things beyond my thoughts.. :-).. just recently, i found out that laptops can be a wifi hotspot or wireless router.. i did it on laptop and it worked, really great.. :-)

Years ago,I think it was 2000 or around there. my brother was in the Airforce and he said I could send email to him to keep in contact. I was too proud to tell him I had no idea about the internet and how to use it. I started going to the library with my daughter trying (with her little bit of patience) to help me figure out how to use a computer. After she would show me one thing, I would look around for her and signal her over to me. Usually she was sitting with her friends and she'd roll her eyes, come over, go back to her friends, whisper and they'd all giggle. Needless to say, I learned really fast! The rest is....history!

I started using the internet when I was in '94 or '95.. At school I would use the computer for reasearch projects, some game playing.. But mostly it was for school.. Then in '96 my mother got a computer and would get a little time on the computer to talk to family members on ICQ and then on yahoo messager.. I got my own computer and internet connection in 2002.. Cant believe its been over ten years already.. makes me feel old.. lol I think it is great that younger children are gaining access to knowledge.. The more they are open to the more they learn and can be prepared for the future.. When I was in college my instructor was teaching his daughter computer programming along with the abcs.. it was cool. There is so much more that children these days have to learn versus say 15 years ago.. Which is normal for each generation to grow on the past generation.. There is a lot there, starting sooner can only help..

i think you're luckier than me cos i ws 80's kid..lol..i dont know at all about internet cos it wasnt invented yet. lol. before i knew internet, i learned how to operate a computer. my first contact with a computer is when i was in senior high school. it's about '95 or '96, but no mouse. we run cursor using arrows. lol. i touched mouse for the first time when i was in college. it was my second year and my friend helped me how to use mouse. its so difficult to blocked a word or sentences. i often made mistakes cos its so awkward. not longer with my first experience using a mouse, i learned internet. but i should go to an internet cafe cos i didnt have computer. and the rate was expensive. about more than $0.5/hour of usage. abd now, my five years old daughter is even better than me in browsing on internet. lol.

I think that was late 90's when I am still high school then I still remember that I am chatting with a foreigner that makes me addicted that is why I learned how to type fast and I can practice my English speaking skills.

I am 90's kid too! And I started having access to the computer when I was in Grade 1 mainly because my dad works in the Admin department. But, we only bought our own personal computer when i was in high school and that was way back 2000.

I started using internet when i was 18 for searching friends and chatting. Now i am using internet for earning little bit and website building. Did you know any perfect way for earning from internet please share with me.
