I saw a green house at Orchard Supply Hardware last night...$169.95... it would be so great to have it for the veggie startings etc. I even have a spot picked out where I could set it up. Of course there are a couple of other things, like a Miche bag, a tiny Yorkie puppy....other than those three things I am kind of stumped. I am more of a giver than a recipient. I'm already planning Bill's Christmas gifts. I have an embroidery sewing machine so I can make gifts for everyone. I have a embroidery card that has a selection of vehicles and motorcycles on it. I plan to do embroidered sheets and pillow cases (a set of embroidered sheets and pillow cases cost over $250 in the catalogs!!!) I also am going to do a set of towels that are embroidered to match the sheets. (A set of the towels will run almost $300...I don't know why they cost so much more than the sheets, but they do.) I also am going to get him a Mustang jacket since he owns one. And there are several other things on my list for him...just to spoil him like he spoils me.

I also think that my best Christmas gift would be to win the Lotto big time. Not only would it be great for me, but it would allow me to reach out and help others. When I buy a lottery ticket I slip into a day dream mode when I drive home. I dream of the things I could do with four million dollars...and all the good I could do with some of the money. Helping the humane societies around my area, donating to the food banks, shelters, food programs...and then the other big dream is to help my fiance's grandson pay off his Mother. She doesn't like me at all, and if she finds out that I gave her son the money to pay off his debt to her would really bunch her undies!! I think that maybe the final thing would be to get myself a horse. I've wanted one for years and years. The only problem is that the horse would turn into a "HUGE" spoiled pet like the rest of my crew. Of course Bill would be the one to really benefit. I have a list of things that I would love to do for him that would be so wonderful to check each and every item off the list. Oh, and then there are some MyLot friends that would be on that list of people to do wonderful things for... I'd have to invest a big part of the money first so that I don't bankrupt myself right off the bat!

I have such a hard time answering this question! I need to start making my list of what to give this year...and figure out how to answer such requests. Chocolate is always nice...some car maintenance items would be helpful too. I like gift certificates too.

I usually ask people not to give me any presents but to give it to a shelter. I have too many things already... good advice and a good dinner though is good. I am all up for listening and learning. Giving of your time to people is also one of the best things you can give someone. We have little gifts for the kids though. My daughter has two kids and she can open up a toy shop.

That to me is one of life's greatest pleasures...giving to others. I try to help with different charities and fundraisers when I can. I think one of the best gift's is, like you stated, giving of your time. Our time is one of our most imporant things in life and giving of that, to me, is so unselfish. You can visit the elderly, sit and talk, or help in a soup kitchen, maybe volunteer at the animal shelter. There is so much you can do to brighten someone's day. Thank you for sharing!
