What makes you think that you're a good person?

Hi myloters, Have you ever ask yourself this kind of question? what makes you think you're a good person?
Actually, A friend once told me that being a good person makes you feel great. When I thought about it, I can't really answer that kind of question to myself. What makes me think that I'm a good person. It's not like I'm a bad person. I just don't know how to answer it. If I'm going to describe myself. One word that fits me is "MOODY". I easily get mad or my mood change. like when someone asking me nonsense questions I get pissed.
In our daily lives, we can't avoid doing things that can hurt people or things that's not good. right? That's why we have one another to help. To help realizing the bad things that has been done. And we learned from our mistakes.
And for my question, I think I'm a good person but is in different aspects. I may be cruel sometimes but I have a kind heart. My heart breaks if I saw someone who's in pain or someone who doesn't have a home or someone that can't do anything because of physical problems.
How about you guys? What makes you think that you're a good person? what did you do? ^_^

I do not think myself a good person, I have too many failings. Only God is good

Failures were part of our life. A challenge for us to become a better person. We can't learn if we don't do mistakes.
God is good all the time. :)

true. if you don't ever want to fail, then don't ever try anything. but what kind of life would that be?

Like you, I have my days and get annoyed with people and that's when I just stay away from everyone.
I don't think I'm a bad person, I don't hit people, I don't say nasty things to them or nasty things about them behind their back. People do get upset when I say something to their face but I always try to let people know what I think so if there is a problem, it's not turned into a rumor or gossip and they know they might have a problem.
If I see someone that needs help, I usually am quick to help, I have helped elderly people get their groceries in their car, gave a few cents change to people that were short in a store, given coffee or food to people that beg for money (although most of the time they just want the money and I won't give them that)
I try to treat family better than strangers, though.

It is quite obvious i am a good person base on my conduct. I don't hurt and steal from other people living my daily life. I have a kind heart and forgiving mind. That should be enough to consider myself as a 'good' person generally if not specifically should be designated as 'good' in a broader sense.

Well, we all make mistakes. We are all human. But aside from that I do think I am a good person. No matter how many times someone hurts me or knocks me down I still help them. If I have made a mistake and accidentally hurt someone the first thing I do is apologize to them. I am always trying to help people the best way I can. I definitely make mistakes like anyone else but I try to fix those mistakes and I do feel bad if I hurt someone. If someone needs someone to listen to them I am there also for them...
