SPOILER ALERT!!!!!! ------------------------- the new bond film ..23rd edition(24 if u included Never say never again") SKYFALL is pretty good..better than Quantam of solace.. 8/10 lots of action to pleased old and new fans..lots drama for those who hate to much action too..and pretty decent plot and bit of this and that.! well balanced flick. But again..this edition is written still before DR.NO timeline. meaning..after Casino royale.. Quantum of solace comes in then continued with SKYFALL then ..who knows ..probably correctly can continue to watch DR.NO(1962)..because of the introduction of Miss MOneypenny..and the new M..and Tanner.. and Q first time meeting Bond? .. but ..again im confused..in the SKYFALL ..he used back an old ASton Martin car as used in GOLDfinger.. and as quoted in SKYFALL it is his old car been hiding in the garage for ages..and later in the film got blown up by the bad guy.. so it could not be taking place in the timeline pre-Goldfinger.unless he will get the same model again (just to be in time with the continuity of Bond films)to use later for Goldfinger mission. mmm.. im blurred.. but anyway..guessed its their way(filmmaker) of celebrating 50 years of bond 1962-2012.

Thanks for the discussion and the warning of the spoiler, I still haven't seen Skyfall to be honest, and I will probably wait till it comes out on Sky, later next year I hope. I have just watched Dr No, HMV were having a sale and Dr No and OHMSS were the only two Bond films I didn't have in my collection, it feels weird watching the very first Bond film, and how they have changed over the years, it was still enjoyable. I never get tired of watching Bond movies old and new. I too found watching Casino Royale confusing, mainly because they already did a Casino Royale spoof movie with David Niven as Bond.

oh yes..the comedic take on Ian fleming's Casino Royale..was done even before Broccoli and Schwarzman managed to get the rights on Fleming's 007 book at that time... anywya..its good to know u got the entire Bond collection (except for Skyfall yeah?)... does your collection includes "Never Say Never Again"?

I'd completely forgotten about Never Say Never Again, no I haven't got it in my collection, thank you will have to look out for that one, although Never Say Never was almost indentical in the storylines to Thunderball. I wonder how Never Say Never came about and how it coincided with Thunderball.

Thank you for taking the time to list all the Bond films in order, good to hear from such a Bond enthusiast. I have pondered this question about Moonraker for some time, you know when the couples go in the first 4 moonrakers to the space station to obviously breed and repopulate the Earth, what happens to them? Also there were no living quarters on the space station! Always puzzles me about that film, yet Moonraker is one of my favourites.

Who knew there's so many Bond movies? I haven't watched most of them since I'm not into the earlier Bond movies. I just watched a couple here and there when they played on TV. But I liked the ones with Daniel Craig. I liked how you warned with 'spoiler alert' but it helps me to know how casual viewers respond to the movie and if it's worth watching. I don't worry about the timeline, or that Skyfall is the prequel to the earlier Bond movies but have more modern vehicles and gadgets. It would be too confusing for me to try and make sense out of everything, so i don't, haha! I just watch and enjoy it
