I've been browsing on my lot for a few minutes now and couldn't find a topic that truly appeals to me. So I decided to start one except that I couldn't think of any. I know times like this is usual to everybody, so instead of asking if this also happens to you, I'm gonna ask WHEN does this usually happen to you?

This sometimes happens to me, usually when i don't find a discussion appealing i just skip it. and thought of making a new discussion however nothing is popping in my mind on random thoughts or so.

Hi,
Well now you know that you're not alone. I guess it only means that it's time to take a break. Last night after I close my eyes for a few minutes I started to think a little better. But then I decided to just read topics.
Happy mylotting:).

Thanks for the reply, yes sometimes taking a break is good so that we can refresh our minds with some good thoughts and also, reading some other discussions can help you generate some new discussions in mind.

All the time. That's why I seldom start discussions as I can't think of any topics to begin with.

Yeah! Well posting on discussions started by others isn't a bad thing at all. I am earning good at doing so. Also, I don't have much of the time trying to moderate my discussions and follow them up as it is the responsibility of the topic starter. So I think just coming in and responding is more suitable for me.

It usually happens to me when I have a million other things on my mind! I used to start a lot of discussions and now, I browse around looking for different things that I get interested in. Seems easier to answer than to ask and a lot of good discussions start from checking out other conversations that you answer.

Right now, I'm just tired from spending the whole day with my friends, I'm avoiding to think of any stress today but I think I've over done it . I also get the ideas from other discussions sometimes just like you. It helps just reading or responding to them.
Thank you and have a good day or night..

hello there meumeu25,
that situation that you have aired also happens to me. and it is really normal i think especially if we are too occupied with other things. that our mind was so full and it cannot grasp a new topic. in this regard, we cannot come up posting a good topic to discuss. and during this times, i will choose to pause for a while and focus my attention to other things so as to be able to construct a topic to be discussed.

Hi,
I have to agree with you, and you're strategy is a really good one. I usually try to relax for a few minutes or get out in front of the screen and get some fresh air. Just then I can start to think better but if it doesn't work I just get out of here completely and come back some other time or day.

That thing happens to me all the time of thinking the discussion but it took me so long before started it. That is the reason why I am now listing it down and write it on my word document before I am going to the actual post. I am listing the kind of topic so that I won't forget in a notebook then if I want to post of course it reminds me of what would be the content.

uh..
perhaps it happens when i in a situation that demand me respond to a difficult question as quick as possible, like in my interview of graduate entrance text.it leaves 10 minutes for me to prepare for 3 professional questions,i have to acknowledge those questions are knotty.so,i have no response at all for at least 3 minutes....

Hi,
Hehe, I've been to the same situation but in a different circumstance, it's the panic that makes you speechless or clueless. And it's so annoying when you know you can answer the question but you can't think of the answer quickly. So instead of making it on time, you weren't able to finish answering it.
Happyylotting.

Well you start this one
We all have those days , that we feel we cannot find something repeatable to respond to . I dont think it have a specific time when it happens , but maybe according to my mood . Today I feel inspire to talk , yesterday I didnt stick around much because my mind wasn't really into it .

Well, this usually happens to me if I am only looking for a topic just to earn money BUT it doesn't happen to me if I really feel the enjoyment of posting here. It occurs when I feel easy-go-lucky mood for me. However, sometimes, somehow, I feel tired too after posting many comments or posts and then I will start to be very picky or even stop browsing for the topic and that will be my time to rest.

I am actually trying to remember the topics that I was suppose to post a few days ago but I can't remember how exactly I want to write them, so I decided to think for a new one but maybe I'm also already too tired to think of anything. While I also want to respond to the other post, I can't find any that interests me.

I really seldom start my own discussion coz I do not want to force to make one if I do not have the right topic to talk about. The topics I make usually are ideas or things that happen at those time. I want to have the perfect mood in starting my own discussion rather than be squeezing my brains out just to be able to make one.

Hi,
Me too, but last night I feel like I was in the mood to start the discussion that I was planning to start days before, since I was just lying on my bed and browsing for an interesting topic. I wasn't really trying to squiz my brain, I was just trying to think of it but maybe my mood is not in the perfect shape since I was also tired from a whole day out.

Well you don't really have to keep track of the WHEN, just to make it clear my question wasn't referring to when you want to start a discussion, I was asking When do you feel the same situation/feeling that I am going through right when I posted this post.
That's the best thing here we are not obliged of posting or RESPONDING if you don't like to, right?
