We all know that friendster is the first social network that was made for all countries, we're in it was similar to facebook, but it doesn't have functions like facebook can do, what do you think affects you to move on Facebook, and forgot the Friendster? and how do you think that Facebook is Better than Friendster?
Let's focus on the time that facebook was launch, and friendster is still working properly,

@tech40 I don't think I've heard of Friendster before. So hard for me to make the judgement or comparison.

Friendster is all about games right now.
The social site turns into a gaming site online- that's the reason why Friendster members turn to Facebook.

Well- I am not a social site addict.
I would rather spend my time mylotting and earn than wasting my time with social sites that doesn't pay

Friendster was my very first social networking site and I've been a member since 2004. I've been an active user for 3 years since I can message my friends, meet new people and reconnect with old friends and schoolmates. Eventually, I got tired of the spams of other users and the eyesores from people who mess up their profile page with massive animated images, music and pH30pL3 whH0e tyP3 li3k dHiszZZzs. I know MySpace (the Friendster equivalent of Americans and Westerners) also had this problem. Luckily, I was one of the early users of Facebook when it launched as a social networking sites around 2007. It wasn't that famous yet but I stuck around since it had good games. Eventually, Facebook started growing and I had a lot of friends... even more than the friends I had in Friendster. So I wasn't that affected when Friendster announced its closure. I just retrieved my photos and testimonials and quickly moved on back to Facebook.

Thank you for the response, if you're going to differentiate the two social site, what do you think that Friendster doesn't have like on facebook? and Facebook doesn't have like on Friendster? yeap, Jejemon are all around on that network, in facebook haha they're crazy, and sometimes i'm lazy coding with CSS on friendster, haha! It's kinda bored, with fixing everything. :DD,
Friendster is still alive buddy, they're now play game online haha, or rather, play flash games online :DD

Facebook is more versatile, I guess. You can view and upload videos and photos at ease. With timeline, it's easier to view posts from previous months and years. I like how I can control who views what I do such as hide my profile from my pesky relatives. As much as I love customizing profiles using HTML/CSS, I like the simplicity of one's FB profile page. The pages load faster compared to Friendster where you have to wait for videos, music and huge images to appear. I also like how it's easy to navigate through FB. You can add your groups and favorite pages on the left sidebar and you can easily access the chat on the right sidebar. Yeah, Friendster is still alive but I don't really like playing their games. I'd rather play DoTA or other MMORPGs :)
