What is your way to learn?
I didn't take care of learning to much (I had pretty good grades anyway) but I decided to have an exercise book only to write a quick note about the topic what we are going to write about from. I use the book, my older notes and the internet if needed and that 1-2 pages will have everything in it. Rewriting also helps me to remember.

Not really your answer is a bit off topic. How do you learn in the school, from a book?

My learning technique is to understand and analyze all the things that I have collected from the information from the internet or even from the books. Aside from that as much as possible if I can still relate that in real life situation.

Analyse all the info that could be boring and it takes a lot of time, right? How much do you work with one page from history book for example?

i learn most and easiest if i see things visually. that's what i discovered when i start to imagine things and think of the topics in visual way. when i se things like this way, i am able to connect important things with the popular and familiar things to make them easier to remember and retrieve from memory. i also write things on paper so that i will be able to review and see them again.

Visual? How can you remember a four digit number or a strange name?

In College, we were obliged to memorize a lot of things. I took up Dentistry so all subjects would be related to Medicine. There are so many terms, mostly in latin, that needs to be memorized. There were just tons of things that needs to be studied everyday. The best way I learned was really memorizing the chapters that needs to be studied. I make use of text highlights so that I'd be more enthusiastic to study. (Weird, huh?)Then I would write almost everything in a notebook without looking at my book. It is my way of punishing myself, but it was really effective! I would also be using some index cards if there are some lessons that has a lot of things to be noted like steps or techniques. I would be studying my lessons inside my room with a headphone (without music, of course). I do not want too much noise when I am studying. That way I would be able to memorize at least 2 whole chapters in an hour or so.

I don't like highlighting. People mess it up and mark a full page it's not useful. I think we must write down all again to keep it in mind.
On a funny site I saw people put candy on their book and if they reach the candy with the reading they eat it :D

My mindset is that the teachers don't teach everything that we need to know, so I always do research on the internet. And when the time comes, I only need to review it for a while.

Sadly teacher teach a lot of useless thing what we must throw out of our brain after school to have some free space.
