Writing letters are the most common form of communication during the time that cellphone was not yet available.

Well I would have to guess that with no cell phones people would actually have to talk face to face with each other rather than texting or calling each other. It seems that with the invent of the cell phone people never talk face to face any more they either text or call on the cell phone. I think that we should go back to some of the basic's so to speak and get back the things that have been lost with the invent of technology.
