Best paper for marker colouring

I had a whole set of Prismacolour Markers. I know the best paper is probably Strathmore
brand or maybe Canson marker paper or any alcohol marker pad.
But around my area all I could find is Campap brand paper and some cheap Layout Pad (Can use marker on it but it still bleeds).
Can I use Watercolour paper with marker? Will it still bleed or it will have a different side effect?
But maybe I should settle for normal paper first then get money to buy Strathmore brand paper from Amazon.

Hi! If you can't find the brand that you want there is a paper called Parchment paper. This is cheaper compared to strathmore and its very suitable for markers, color pencil and pen & ink. I use this paper for sketch type architectural drawing and its very handy to use because, if you don't like the drawing you can crumple it without regretting. This is also a kind of tracing paper which is transparent but, its thicker and more of like a paper. The size sometimes vary on 20"x30" so, you can customize the size of the drawing paper. I hope my suggestion helps!!

I already bought a block of paper called "Butter paper" It's also suitable for markers, color pencil and pen & ink. That paper is also suitable for architectural drawings.
As for Parchment paper there isn't one in my area unfortunately.
