***Do They Even Make Anything Like This?***

Ok, here I am going to my daughter's house tomorrow and I made about 36 cookies. They look like little witch hats and have a chocolate Hershey's Kiss on them to make the point of the hat.
Ok, my problem is this. Since these stick up a bit high, I can't put other cookies on top of them, or the chocolate will get flattened. I have about 36, so now they are all in 4 aluminum pans with lids on them, just so I can carry them over to my daughters so they don't get crushed. This is silly and really ridiculous.
Do they even make "cookie carriers" with more than one level so you can take a bunch at one time? I saw something but it wasn't for cookies, per say, it was for cupcakes and cookies. I'm looking for something that I can just take cookies in, especially for holiday treats or special occasions. People bake tons of cookies for Christmas....what do they take them in if they are a bit delicate?
I wish someone would invent this........what do you guys do? I tried putting silly stuff inside the sluminum pans to make a second level, but everything was just a bit too big and didn't fit properly.
It would be nice if I could find something that would take on at least 36 cookies with maybe 3 levels...12 each.......or at least 2 levels that would hold 18 on each level.
Maybe I just don't know of any product that will do this....anyone able to help me? If you're an inventor, please invent this...lol!

A quick search with the search window here got this link to Amazon which has several:
http://www.amazon.com/s?ie=UTF8&keywords=cookie%20carrier&page=1&rh=i%3Aaps%2Ck%3Acookie%20carrier
I only looked at one of the search results of many that came up when I entered cookie carrier. There are at least three shown that seem to fit what you want. You might also check on the Walmart website or other such stores. They might even indicate that the stores carry them and you wouldn't have to order one on line. Good luck.

I did use a search engine but the only thing that came up was what you found. I'm looking for just a cookie carrier, nothing else. I don't care about cupcakes or deviled eggs...I already have those.
The only one you found that seems pretty interesting is the Bakers Carrier which might work since it holds so much.
Thanks a bunch! Oh yes, I did check Walmart and they only had the Snap one...which is for cupcakes and cookies. I really didn't think this would be so hard to find. All I need are three flat shelves, just for cookies.

This is what I was thinking of. At least the stacking part would be good to have. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Tupperware-Tall-Pie-Cake-Taker-Carry-All-2-Dividers-Large-Canister-/130793004338?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item1e73dedd32
Also, if you had a deep plastic container perhaps some of the wire shelves that they sell would fit inside to provide a second layer.

You know, that is a wonderful idea. I remember making cookies and decorating them with icing only for the icing to smear because it was difficult to transport..I should talk to my husband, he has ideas, but never follows through, maybe this time he will create something that he can market..

You know, I was thinking about the design myself last night, maybe between the two of us, we can get something like this off the ground..:)

It's so simple it's ridiculous and I can't believe no one has done this "JUST" for cookies. I don't need the muffin or cupcake tin because I don't take those with me very often. But cookies for the holidays, yes! And so does everyone else just about, especially if they're going to someone's house. I already have a deviled egg holder so I don't need that either. This could be made right out of plastic with a lid..throw in 3 flat shelves and that's it. The bottom would be used for the first layer, then 3 on top..how hard is that..geesh.
Tell your hubby to have them invented, patented, and made all by Christmas, hahaha, so I can buy one or two...just kidding of course.

oh my you might really have made an invention that will make you at least well to do maybe not millionaires. lol. i re member and this, is years back when I worked at St Lukes in Phoenix we always had a wonderful Christmas party in the evening and we all brought cookies, cakes , candies, casseroles. this one coworker always brought the best cookies and this one time she w as all upset as she had had to
step on her brakes to avoid a collision and the lid to the carrier of her cookiesall nicely iced flew off and cookies were all over the place. she was so upset but we all grabbed several and even with the icing smooched they were delicious.'that was also the night my hubby to be stuck a little bottle of Evening in Paris in my pocket. the next day he proposed. wow. long time back. like 33 years wow.

I see that stealthy did some research for you. All that was coming to my mind was the old cake and pie carriers that Tupperware used to make. You could stack several of them and put them inside of a cake box that they made. It sounds like you had a lot of fun. If I was faced with that problem here at home I would probably put the first dozen into a muffin pan, one in each cup. Then put a layer of foil over that and put another layer, but I do not know where I would go from there, possibly a 9x13 turned upside down over them.

That is why the old Tupperware stackers came to mind. They were flat, you could put a pie on it, or a cake, or a dozen or so cookies on each layer. Then cover it and carry it.

I'm going to look for these on Ebay for sure. I really can't believe these are not made today with all the holiday cookies people make...what the heck! Thanks GG!

Hi GG,
Seriously, I didn't think this was that hard to find. I only want something that carries 'cookies' and I don't need anything else. I was telling Stealthy that I already saw the cookie and cupcake carriers but I can't believe they don't have one JUST for cookies...seriously. With all the holiday cookies people make, you'd think someone would have made this by now.
I looked on my favorite search engine and came up with what Stealthy did, but it's not quite what I'm looking for.
Yes, the muffin tin or even a cupcake tin would do, but I have at least 36 cookies so I'd still have a lot to take with me. What a pain this is.

Thanks Jill, I'd appreciate that! They must make these somewhere but I just can't seem to come up with it. The cookies were fine and made it all the way. Everyone kept eating them so that made me happy too. I also made some spinach dip and that of course, everyone loves. We had a ton of food and had a super great time.
I'm going to go shopping soon and see what I can invent on my own, haha. It was ridiculous carrying over 4 aluminum trays when all I needed was one with a couple levels in it, but you do whatcha gotta do.

hi Kashmeresmycat. Here in Southern C a we have several stores called
The Container Store and really they have cookie carriers and candy carriers
and all sorts of special things. I Imagine they are on the web too but
I have not looked. Perhaps in your area you might have a Container Store.
the stuff they have is fascinating for sure. I will goggle it or yahoo it
and see then come back with a comment.

Hi Sugar....I will for sure go and see this store. I would be in my glory if they had something at a reasonable price to carry my holiday cookies in. I don't have anything in the area like that..not that I'm aware of anyways, but I guess I could check around. Thanks Hatley!

Ha! Here you are! Well, I found this http://momandmore.com/2010/11/holiday-gift-guide-snap-'n-stack-2-layer-cookie-and-cupcake-carrier-review-giveaway-ends-1213.htm I can't believe Tupperware doesn't have one. I searched their site. But the one stealthy found is better, I think. Check it out. I'll keep looking.

Yeh, I'm here..thought I'd give you a break today, haha! It's the weekend so it's rest time.
And yes, I already saw that and I really don't need the cupcake carrier. I think if I put these cookies inside them, they might be hard to take out since the cupcake area's are low. I don't know. I need something that has at least 3 layers that are just flat, so they would hold maybe 12 cookies each. That would be ideal......thanks!!!

That's ok...if you don't copy the whole link it won't work. No problem. You sound pretty chipper today which is good. Are you seeing some results or just having some fun?

The link won't work. I meant to test it first but I hit submit by mistake. I'm in a hurry because I'm really busy trying to clean out my basement on orders from a good friend. And I think she expects results!! There's something missing after the http:// but I don't know what. Sorry. I can't do housework and think too.

All I use is a Rubbermaid or sterlite container, plastic, that's a little larger than my wire bread cooling racks-- cooling rack, cookies on it, next cooling rack on feet with cookies, then the last one. It took a little shopping in the thrift shops to find racks that fit over each other, but I managed it, and the whole thing cost me about 10.00. I never thought about actually manufacturing such a thing, but it wouldn't be difficult by any means.

Yes, that's probably what I'm going to end up doing. My cookies, with the Hershey's kiss on top, were about 1 1/2" tall, so I have to find racks that are at least that high or a bit higher. I'll figure something out when I go shopping and invent my own too, haha!
