Are there alternatives to breastfeeding when I can't?

There are many alternatives. Pumping exclusively if the baby won't latch. Pumping extra to get supply up. Taking supplements like fenugreek! (It helped us) There are even donors and sellers of breast milk that have an over supply themselves! Many others if you educate and just Google about it! Believe me when I say there have been so many problems in my breastfeeding "CAREER" and it wasn't easy. We never had to get a donor but we had supply issues to the max and back! I had to have a breastfeeding vacation and lay down for a long weekend while daddy was working and sissy was at grandma's when my baby was about 2 months or so and we never left the bed until she was back breastfeeding 100% and my supply was back up to normal. I would say it took three days but I was hardly sleeping so it felt like a century! I know there are other alternatives but this was our journey and it worked for us. Good luck to all that are struggling. Hope my story helps someone out there:)

There are surely good can powder milk outhere, just mind that after childhood humans actually are not lactose tolerant and we don't need milk, no animals need and therefore this cruelty against cows don't need to be any longer. I hard from moms that giving can milk were okay, that doctors recommended and the child got enough calcium.
