She had a late nap so maybe that's it was the late nap. Maybe it is just our change in scheduling. I don't know but with day light saving coming I am worried. I have an extra hour of sleep but I fear it will throw our whole sleeping of course. We rarely have a good schedule as she wakes a lot but I was hoping as she got older it would get better. She is about two and a half and no regular routine. I tire her out in the park but now with winter and less park going and only the library to run in I don't think it will help. There are no indoor parks near unless I jump in a car, cab, train, bus or plane! I am serious, can I buy a jungle gym in my home or what?! I need help to run her energy out so she will tire out. Today is not so bad except the late nap which I believe was caused by her running around and getting adrenaline and not being able to go to sleep! The opposite! The complete opposite of what I was going for. Help! Mommy needs ideas :)

I would guess it's the late nap that did it. I try to keep mine on a schedule but it's hard sometimes. Mine usually naps for a couple of hours right after lunch. But today we have a party at noon to go to so we purposely got up early this morning at like 5am so she could nap early. Wasn't too hard getting up early with the time change luckily. I know what you mean about wearing them out. I'm worried about winter too what we will do everyday!

I hope with the winter that we will have early sleep and early wake up. I want to cut out nap time but she is still too cranky. At what age is good for cutting out naptime that you have known off. I really can't remember with my eldest when it was. Happy mylotting and thank you.

Perhaps it was really the late nap. What we usually do with the toddlers is to put off all the lights and they'd have no choice but to sleep. hehe.. But I guess if they're not tired, you wouldn't get some sleep as well.
Good luck! Have a great mylot experience ahead!

Thank you for the good luck. She has been sleeping awfully weird. I often have her jetlagged for different reasons. We are about to cut out nap time altogether anyway but she gets so cranky. I hope we can soon. Happy MyLotting and Thank you!
