Do you use same towel for bathing and for rinse(soak) the face

hi surekharathi yes as I am clean and the towel is not going to get dirty or contaminated so why not use it on all of m e as I have a huge bathsheet anyway and its soft and fluffy to in a gorgous shade of blue green.but if I am washing my face outside the shower I have a small soft washcloth I use like a little towel. I miss my Noxzema face wash as it helped m y skin so much. I will have to buy some more.

I have a separate towel for my face and body as well. Although sometimes when Im running late for the office, I forget to bring my face towel with me to the bathroom so I end up using my body towel for my face too! Well, it's not really a big deal, although the towel that i use for my face is softer and I prefer to use that on my face than my regular towel. The only disadvantage could be, if, you're sharing towels with others then you use it on your face, you could get dirt and bacteria on your face especially if they have skin diseases

I am personally one of the people that will use two different towels when I've gotten done bathing. I will use the larger bath towel for my body and then I will use a smaller bath towel to dry off my face and then I will wrap it around my hair to assist in getting my hair to dry. I understand that I'm clean after I get out of the shower, but it just seems weird to me to think about using the same towel for both my rearend and my face.

While staying in chennai we have a separate towels for myself and wife also one for guests. we wash the towel every day. While staying in usa and canada -- each one of us has a towel ear marked for us and we use the same for all purposes. This towel is washed once in three or four days. Mainly we use paper towels for drying hand and face cleaning after taking food.

For me, i care not whether i use the same towel for my body and my face. They are both the same to me as they serve their true purpose to clean my wet body, or body parts. After i use them, i make sure i hang them up for the sun to dry in order to get rid of the germs that have sticked to it. I don't know of any disadvantages of using towels for any of your body parts so far. I'm not so sure why many people are too choosy in using the same towel for their face and for their whole body. Maybe they know some information or trivias about using the same towel that i do not know of. Well, have a great day!

I think they don't want to use the same towel because face is the sensitive part rather than the body. They want something smooth to touch their faces to avoid rashes.

I personally do not have a problem to use my towel for both.. As long as no one else has used the towel.. Once and a great while I will not because of personal hygene is conserned.. I understand why some others have to use separate towels.. If there is problems with keeping clean or have open sores that cause the towel to become dirty easily.. I just do not want to get too graphic here.. but I totally understand.. I wouldnt want that on my face!

I don't really know any kind of disadvantages from using the same towel you use to wash your face to use it with you in the bath tub. My friends like to take showers anyway so it really isn't much of a problem for them. I like to use different small towels to wash myself in the bathroom when I am taking a bath and another one to use when I wash my face in the morning or evening. I use two different bathrooms when I am washing my face or taking a bath so I really need two little towels.

I always have a towelette at our bathroom, for my husband's use. He would use it at night to wash his face, before he goes to bed. I would usually change the towelette every 3 days, for his use. But after that, he will wipe his face dry with his towel. Me, i don't use such. I wash my face with water and soap before going to bed. night. But we have a separate towel for our own use.

well for me, i use a medium size towel for my hands, a regular towel for my face amd body. then i hang the towel to dry and by the time i usenit again, its dry and i can reuse it. i use the same towel like for two days streight. then i grab another clean towel if i need it. my huband and kids use different towels too..i have little small towels for them to use after they bathe. i think the face and body carry different jerms...i think the body had more bacteria than the face-for me at least. there is something called a hand towel something one uses to dry ur hands and ur face after ur wash ur face in the morning which is something i dont do. Everyone is different. some ppl like to use the latest thing. like this kind of a big papertowel one uses for the face one ti,e and throws it away. which is wastful if u ask me!

I use a different towel for my body and my face. I also have one towel for the hair. It feels cleaner to have a seperate towel and also most of the times I just wash my face to take the make up off so I need a towel to wipe my face. Make up an especially mascara might leave marks on the towel so I don't want to leave the marks in my body towel. I am doing this for many years now and it has become a habit! What towel do you use if you wash your face in the morning without having a shower?

I just used to make use two towels. The one which I just used only for bathing and the other for drying my hands and my face. It my parents who teaches me so and I don't have a perfect reason why they ask me so.

Either use two towels, or be careful of the order you use the one towel. If you wash and dry your face first before washing and drying other parts of the body, it would be okay. However, I would not want to wash my dirty feet and then use the same towel to wash my face. Another thing that is very important. I learned very young that the towel should be washed after each use, or at least become dry quickly. If not, bacteria will grow in the towel and be transferred to the skin causing a rash.

Hi... I don't know any particular disadvantages of using the same towel.. But it is not good... I've shared other one's towel only when I had no option. It's happened only twice so far... It does not feel clean, trust me... I'll never do it again... I always carry my own, whenever I'm going out of station...

I am using the same towel to dry my face and body after taking a bath or washing my face alone. It's my own towel anyway and we do not share towels at home. Every individual uses separate towels.
