Love Oneself

I think that it is difficult to love anything and anybody if you don't feel good about yourself or just simply feel good deep down inside your very self.. If you love yourself, you begin to appreciate things around you.. You begin to feel happy about your surroundings.. Including of course, other people.. That's why it is important to love oneself first before others because, if you're empty, there will be no love in your heart to feel and to give to others..

Yes I must love myself truly first. As I understand that my feeling, my sentiment, my body are similar to the same of others and as I should not be hurt, so none should be hurt. Aside from this, Im not any separate part of the world. so, Im not independent. Im to depend on others, depend on how bad or good others react. Actualy the lesson comes from me. If I dont contribute to promoting my surrounding enviroment, be it humane or matterial, I have to be affected by it. So the love for me will turn into the love of doing good to others. Spiritualy my emancipation lies in doing things to emancipate others. My emancipation lies in my the responsibility, good manner, my charity of doing good to others. If today I misbehave, if I exercise arrogance, if I ignore others then these will appear as boomerang to hurt me tomorrow undoubtedly. So for the sake of my being well, staying well, I must be good to others. So my betterment lies already in me. And its scientific that I must love myself first. Stay fine.

I would say that we can't able to love other people if we can't love our self first. When I attended mass a while ago, the preacher said that we above all else, we must love God first. It is not the same as loving ourselves but when we start to love God above any other thing, then it is easy to love ourselves and then directly to others.

yes indeed, we should learn to love our self first, if we don't understand the love and pain of ourselves ,then how will we understands others pain and love? we experience it first .

Man who hates himself is incapable of giving love. He must learn to love himself first to know what love means. A man's heart full of vengeance will surely be full of hatred thus love will never dwells into his heart. But a man who is at peace with himself know the value of love. Definitely. If you can't love yourself, how can others love you. You must first love who you are before anyone can love you for who you are. Accepting ourselves first will make others accept us.

If you are not able to love yourself, respect yourself, if you do not have a lot of self esteem, believe in yourself, are able to pamper yourself and believe in yourself, why should anyone else do so?
