Grease is my favorite movie because of the music in it the dancing and the actors. I love this movie and see it every chance i get when it is on cable. also i own it on VHS and DVD. I also like it because it shows a little bit of what life was like back int he 50's. Is this your favorite movie and why?

I saw the movie, but I much prefer Dirty Dancing. It shows in a much better way life in the 50s as I see it. I was a teenager in the late fifties and the early sixties, so I feel I can compare.

I did like Dirty Dancing very much but Grease to me is better because it not only has music but the actors singing and dancing more than in Dirty Dancing. In Dirty Dancing they don't sing and dance like in grease they just dance some. Tho Dirty Dancing could be my second favorite movie.

Grease is definitely one of my favourites. We just returned from vacation where we air travelled for 12 hours in total. On one 8 1/2 hour plane ride we had our own screens on the headrests of the seat in front of us. We could choose movies, television shows, music, and games. It was awesome. I watched one movie I had not seen ("He's Just Not Into You" - or whatever it's called) and it actually put me to sleep. So I stopped watching it and chose Grease instead. I knew that would keep me awake. It was really hard not to sing along to though. I was mouthing the words.
Grease, Sound of Music, Hairspray, High School Musical - I love them all. As you said, singing and dancing is uplifting and exciting and, honestly, sexy. Nothing like a good musical to help pass the time and lift your spirits.

I was born in the 80s but I like movies like this. I have watched Moulin Rouge, Chicago, The Sound of Music, and one of my favorites, Great Balls of Fire. With regards to Grease, I think I have watched it already. Was it the movie that stars John Travolta and Olivia Newton John?

Oh definitely one of my favorites! I always watch it, too whenever I see it being shown on cable.
Back in High School, we enjoyed watching it with my friends, and also we have used their songs in our school programs where me and my friends would dance to it. Haaayyy! Those were the days!
