The Greatest Band Ever

Do you really think the Beatles were the greatest band ever? I don't know if they were the greatest ever, but they sure one of the best in their time. I absolutely love the White Album and the SGT. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club album. i love all their songs they were awesome. I liked John Lennon and Paul Mccartney best, but the whole band was awesome. I shared a birthday with George Harrison til he died and i thought that was neat. So what do you think of the Beatles and what is your favorite song and album by them? Are you old enough to have seen them on the Ed Sullivan show back in 63. I'm not old enough to have seen that but i wish i had. For those of you that saw that what did you think of it?

Indeed the Beatles is one of the most influential music act of the decade... in fact, there are lots of bands that were influenced by the Beatles's music to name a few: Queen, Rolling Stones, The Police, U2, Greenday, Coldplay, Oasis, and Maroon-5.
I think why most of these bands are influenced and hooked their musical roots from the Beatles it's because they are classic. The Beatles had gained a high reputation in the music industry, not only putting music because of popularity but making it as sole art of expression.

The Beatles were great but I beg to disagree that they are the best band ever. Music has lots of genres, lots of bands doing different genres and lots of these bands are great in what they do as well.

I think the beatles were the best band of their times. There have been many other great ones since then. few you have mentioned here. Have a great day there. Im off to play my beatles cd here.
