Yes, they're awesome words and worth keeping in our minds. There are many wonderful verses in the book of Isaiah. I have been reading it lately and so many speak directly to me. God is awesome.

It's a wonderful thing to note in the book of Isaiah that though God's people turn their backs away from Him, still He gave them the best choice, the best offer which is reconciliation.

I pondered on the phrase 'let us reason together' and did a quick internet search to reveal that this is a little like a term that would have been used in court in kind of "let's settle our differences" kind of way. So, in that context, I see a slightly different dynamic, God is not simply stating our sins shall be white as snow, he is OFFERING forgiveness of sin like you might make an offer in a court of law to resolve a dispute. It's a subtle difference in the reading, but to me, the fact that this is basically an offer to freely absolve us from sin, makes it more real than a simple statement.

God is the sovereign law giver and He Himself is the sovereign judge. He alone can forgive sins, he alone can justify the offender from their sins. No matter how great those sins are, when God forgives them, they are gone forever.

Not only they are wonderful to ponder but also this word in Isaiah 1:18, is our assurance that God is always willing to forgive and accept us no matter How great our sins were and are, so long as we are willing to repent and believe and obey him.

yeah, there is no reason for any sinners not to come to Him in repentance because God Himself offered that reconciliation. If someone will come to Him and repent from His sins, then God through Christ shall he be forgiven.

Amen. It's an evidence that even we fail and sin, the Lord instead of being a judge mock our weaknesses, He will be there to remind us about His love and willing to accept us if we only change..He will look to us like a total renewed person =)

Not forgetting of course that God is Holy and just who hates sin and thus punishes the sinners. But because of His grace, he offered the World a justification through the Lord Jesus Christ. In Christ, God is inviting even the worst of sinners to receive His forgiveness.

yeah, they are so touching, and hope giving too. I will never forget those promises specially in verse 18 of chapter 1 because that was what God did for me and for everyone who are in Christ.

When you ponder upon the words on Isaiah, we cannot get away from the reality that God is really loving. He loves sinners and He have Christ for the redemption of sinners and by His mercy, he drew us to Christ our Savior.
