I read an advertisement that states that wearing glasses or contacts can only destroy your vision over time. On your own experience in wearing glasses and contacts that really make sense or not? Because for me, before I do wear glasses but I can't finished the set months of wearing it for it to cure my eye problem because I always misplaced my eye glasses that makes me decide to not wear any more so tendencies I do experience blurry eyes when I looked at a far and sometimes I do experience dry eyes or not teary eyed. But now that I am in my 30's I still can read small letters but I have to stare at the letters a little longer for me able to read it sometimes when my eyes are tired if I read small letters it double the number lol ^_^ How about you my dear mylotters, what are your experience in wearing your glasses or contacts on? does they really cure your eye problem or it just worsen it? Happy Mylotting! ^_^

In my experience, it got worse. They say I have to wear it so it can still be cured but every year, I have to go for a check up because my eyes are getting blurry. So this means I need to have a higher grade of lenses. I think this can't be cured anynore.

That's true, when you start to wear glasses, over time it just make your lenses higher grade. That's what happen to me when I started wearing one.

Hi ofzhernandez. I don't think that wearing contact lenses and eyeglasses can cure our eye vision. It only can correct it while you use it. The best choice to cure a vision is to undergo LASIK surgery. I have a relative who had that few years ago and she's happy with the result. The supplements will only function as a maintenance for the eye. I think we just have to rest our eyes for a while to avoid worsening the condition of having blurry vision. Having a healthy diet will help on preventing any eye related disease as it will strengthen our immune system. Have a great day!

Lasik surgery? I think that was way too expensive than those eyeglasses or contact lenses, right? I think that suggestion are for those people who have money. But for those low profile or status in life that was too expensive. But thanks anyways for commenting and suggesting that. Hopefully if I do have extra cash I would love to try it so that I will not wear glasses ^_^

In my condition the best possible bet for me is to have a surgery. I can’t afford that now but I do take my glasses every now and then because I do feel tired of having clear vision. It somewhat strains me and my eyes. So, I do take them and only use for instances tat really meant like for example, using a computer or working. Other times, there are not on me. I know that as I age, my vision is gonna get worse and it runs in the family. Although eating carrots might not able to change an iota of my vision, I am still hoping that it will not be the worst of conditions. .

I have never heard of glasses / contacts being a cure for bad vision, but I do know they can help correct lazy eyes. I have been wearing glasses since I was about 10 years old (I'm now 23) and my vision has gotten worse over the years. I tried contacts but I couldn't handle touching my eyes and I was always afraid the contacts would get stuck so I stopped wearing them. I was told by my eye doctor that I would need glasses for the rest of my life. Bad vision runs in my family.

My wife was advised by her naturalist doctor that she should practice her eyes not to rely on glasses. Some said that glasses are the best solution for vision problem but those who rely most on natural remedy prefer supplements good for the eyes.

I do red that, that it is much better to take supplements for the eyes rather than wearing eye glasses or contacts because it can only worsen your eye problem. Or take a rest if you feel that your eyes are tired ^_^

My eyes have gotten better over the years. So I think wearing glasses helps you.
