Hi guys i think it is cinnamon time and that is why all the roads and homes are smelling of cinnamon. There are lots of trees around and almost everywhere i go I find the same smell. It is going far and wide.. I think it is flowering time or something. I have a tree in like 20m away from our house and the breeze is bringing the smell in the house too. I like the smell. Do you like cinnamon? Have you had any trees around??
Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful day ahead

Wow. that is an amazing smell. Honestly the first time I saw a cinnamon wood or something (hahaha. so innocent of me for I really don't know whats it called) was when hubby and I visited Malaysia. I assume there must lots of cinnamon tree there. Oh I love the cinnamon smell. I love it to be my food flavor too.
It would be fun for sure if you have a cinnamon tree near your house. I can't grow a tree besides my house co's there's just no space for it to grow. :(( I'm happy for you just smell it for me though. hhahaha.

Wow!!! I love the smell of cinnamon! You're fortunate because where I live there are no cinnamon trees. Where I grew up, there are a lot of pine trees and so I love the smell of pine trees. But, I live in a big city now, so there's not much tree around.

I am from Benguet but now live in Metro Manila. So yeah, I miss the smell of pine trees. I have never seen a cinnamon tree, either.

That sounds wonderful to be able to drive through town smelling fresh cinnamon blooming. I have never seen a cinnamon tree. Are they beautiful? I live in a desert so for me its a novelty to even see a tree let alone a beautiful one smelling of fresh cinnamon.

My house is not around with Cinnamon but my country has a large cinnamon coverage area and My country export cinnamon to Europe , America and other. In past British invade our country because of spices and cinnamon and they took massive amounts of cinnamon from our country, As a Sri Lankan I'm proud to say my land is filled with our food necessities.

Hi!
You are right that it is flowering time for cinnamon. I have recently been to Kerala and had an occasion to visit a spice garden in Munnar (Kerala). At that place I saw how cinnamon grows on a tree. It is always scintillating to smell cinnamon as it has very refreshing flavour.

Cinnamon! hmm i like its taste, there are many medicinal values of cinnamon, Well i saw a plant when i visited my grandparents place some time ago, the people there told me it was a cinnamon plant, it was very young and i didn't get any smell ,may be because its very tender. I was not 100 percent sure of it.
well then you are enjoying the smell now, not bad. Is there any forest something like that near your house? do you live on any island near Goa?

Thanks for this discussion. Yes, I like cinnamon. I put cinnamon in fruit cakes I bake. And they are delicious.:-) Besides that the smell of cinnamon can drive the mosquitoes away. They do have many benefits.
Have a nice day!
