We had out tree up I think two weeks ago...hahaha! I just realized I never had a ny Christmas decorations in our place since we moved in. Our tree is a hand me down, and I only bought the christmas balls nd ribbons (Blue and silver) and the lights. All in all I only spent 240.00 pesos :) not bad di ba?
I wanted more decors but I don't want the extra expenses, so I think the tree would be our only Christmas decor in the house :)

hahaha. You are a very creative person, so I believe your tree looks good. Unlike with mine I needed other people to set it up and do the "decorating" as well. I took courage in telling sister in law to decorate it, good thing she agreed. She might be thinking of what I am thinking why I don't do it myself. I don't care anyway. hahaha, our Christmas tree looks good and that's whats matter most. :))

it was indeed a great fun to see hubby and her sister putting up the lights and the decorations on our christmas tree, and with my baby walking around trying to get some christmas balls and hubby trying to keep her from getting too.
The Christmas seems add life to our home. People become lively as well. I ca't wait for Christmas to come. Hope you guys are having fun as well. God bless!

Not here in the Philippines, some people would even do it earlier than that. If you go to some malls, they put Christmas decorations as early as September first. hahaha. We celebrate Christmas starting on first ber months until December. Crazy eh! hahaha.
My Canadian friend would not understand that actually when she was here. She said.. it's crazy to hear Christmas songs in September.Anyways, I hope you too would get excited thinking you'll setting up your Christmas tree in the next four weeks. :))

We will probably start decorating in about 2 weeks time. We like to start early like you so as to make sure we have plenty of time to enjoy the decorations. We simply love christmas time. It is the best time of the year. Our christmas tree is very large and it takes a lot of time and effort to mount and decorate. But we still love it and have a good time doing it.

We did ours after All Souls day so that my baby would enjoy it o the max. She was the reason of it all. hahha. We got the idea when we took her somewhere, then she saw these Christmas lights and her eyes went big and she became very excited. So we decided to set up the Christmas tree after the haloween.

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. Well glad to hear about you and your hubby's anticipation regarding setting up of a Christmas tree at your place and i am sure u and your family would be on cloud nine now. It is always great to celebrate Christmas with your family members when you decorate your house with lights and stuffs. Your daughter would be excited after seeing the final Christmas tree and as such we have not furnished any plans for Christmas this year as we do not celebrate it.
What say?

Thanks subhojit. :)) indeed we are all happy to see our beautiful christmas tree standing proud out there. My one year old daughter is almost ecstatic about it. She can't resist not holding the balls and the christmas lights. She even want's to eat the small bulb of the christmas light. hahaha. So funny to look at her like that, she actually said "wow!" when she saw the decorations.
We were actually pretending that last night was Christmas eve, we greeted each one a merry christmas. hahaha. Oh, I love celebrating Christmas...the season makes me feel good. I understand that in some places for some religious reasons.
Happy mylotting! :))

it's good to see you here again mylotting my friend. It's been awhile and I miss you. It's same with me too, I actually asked sister in law to help hubby decorate our humble Christmas tree. My daughter got very excited last night to see glittered decorations, and she even said "wow!". hahaha.
The christmas tree indeed brought happiness to all of us. In fact we did not watched tv last night because we light up the christmas tree and put on a Christmas song. hahaha. Hope you are doing good. God bless and happy mylotting!
