We alway just don't like to admit it.No matter how familiar we used to be each other ,as long as we are apart then we become strangers.Do you agree with me?What does it matter where I am if you are not with me.

I think it depends on how much of an effort the friends make. I've had a few very good old friends move far away. The ones I kept in touch with over the phone or on Facebook our relationship still stays the same. I've also had other friends whom I don't hear from as much. We either become strangers or just not as good of friends as we used to be.

Yes, I agree with you on this but it may come back when we have contacts again. I got lots of friends who are already away, I think I have forgotten them already but when we met on facebook, our friendships came back. It is different for love of bf/gf, even if there is a contact but the feeling is different. Maybe this is due to the pain that was made during break-ups or something. Hard to elaborate.

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. Well yes you are absolutely right, with time every thing gets detached and relationships are not an exceptional thing. I know it is very hard to admit this reality as we always aspire to see life long relationship and wish if it continues for ever but with time we all will become strangers after some time. This is the reality and we should accept it. So we should try to enliven a relationship and try to keep it afloat as much as possible. What say?

I think it depends upon the person himself. I believe in the saying "Distance makes the heart grow fonder". I am in a long distance relationship in three years and until now we are getting stronger.
