...it kinda irritates me

Okay, I sometimes work for friend in her writing business. There are times that I am very grateful for her when I needed the time to get busy and motivated to work. Also, she has been a good boss in the duration of our relationship. That only thing that kinds of irritates me is that I don't seem to be on the priority on her list. Granted that I may not be her greatest employee or employee or the month but I kinda feel irritated when she offers me a job or a project but forgets about it later. I know that i shouldn't hold her for her promises but it feels that I am waiting for nothing. I guess my point is don't offer the project if it's not going to be possible that it is given to me. or maybe I was in the fault because I am hoping that i could get for extra income.
Of course, I also seek employ elsewhere but I already feel comfortable with her. She is very fair and sometimes very understanding.
I don't even know if I am entitled to this feeling.
Anyway,I guess I won't be returning her call again. It seems like I'll be led to a merry dance.

I really don't want to wait for her projects although the amount of those projects will be very good compensations.I just like her to give me heads-ups when it is going or nto going to happen.

Hi,jeanneyvonne. Thank you for believing us to share your feelings here. But jeanneyvonne, do not think too much about it. Even in one family, there will be unhappiness, not mention a friendship. But I do recommend you to find another job. Distance can generate beauty. Friends staying together every day, I think, is not a good thing.

I already have another job but her projects are quite more lucrative.

Oh, I hate this kind of thing, too. People should make promises they can keep... or if they can't keep them, because whatever may happen, they should at least remember promising something and tell you that sorry, the project isn't available anymore. I would tell her not to promise me anything unless she really thinks she would give it to you and if she would remember that this project was assigned to you. That's the minimum... employers have duties, too, not just employees.

I guess I could say that to her in a very nice and pleasant way. Don't want to lose her friendship and some potential clients.
