Indian test team for the 1st test have been announced. Yuvraj Singh is included in the team, which is a great come back after recovery from ailment of cancer. Harbhajan Singh too is in the team. I think Indian team is well balanced and have upper hand over England team. Share your views!

Inclusion of uv is a great sign for himself and indian cricket. To have an experienced left hand batsmen in the middle order adds strength to batting line up .. more over his left arm spin is handy in test cricket (in all formats anyways)
Hope he continues his form from 1st class cricket he played recently and excells..

Moreover Harbajan finds it hallenging this time if he does not perform better than Ashwin in test series then his chances will be fragile to make up in indian cricket team. He need to take it much challenging than feeling pressure ang ill performing and focus on game.

Yuvraj has scored a double century in Duleep Trophy semi final showing that he is in full form to play test cricket. Harbhajan was having lazy attitude to take sufficient practice matches, which is a bit changed. Certainly he is a match winner on attaining his form.

I have ony one thing to ssay to say about this great player; I salute you,Yuvi. It is always very difficult to play a longer format especially soon after recovered from a big illness. But Yuvi, you proved it that if there is will and if you hard work for it nothing is impossible. Any way he come back strongly and now it's also time for Harbhajan that his deadly terminator is also not out from the picture. It's always healthy for the cricket team that if so many players are fighting hard to be in the team.

No ordinary man can make such great return to normal life overcoming such an illness which would make one collapsed in mental courage. It seems he has overcome not only illness but also some kind laziness hidden in his mind. That double century in Duleep Trophy semi final shows his determination to be active in test cricket too.

It is great to see Yuvraj back in the team. I hope he can perform at a good level after his great comeback from cancer. Of course, this is not the best format for him as he has never really been able to hold down a test spot, so this is probably one last chance for Yuvi to seal a permanent test spot.
Cheers!

It seems Yuvraj Singh has changed a lot after overcoming illness. Earlier he wasn't giving seriousness about his role in Indian test team. But, now Dravid and Laxman aren't in Indian test team. He may be realizing this shortage in Indian team. His double century in Duleep Trophy semi final indicates that he has taken some decision to concentrate in test cricket too.

Yuvraj is a special talent,he has managed to get India out of trouble in ODIs just like Laxman has done in tests. He has not taken test cricket too seriously in my view ,so far that is,but if he plays continuously in test team for a year or so,he can certainly be very successful in tests too.

You are correct. Yuvraj was the man of the match in the last 3 world cup winnings of India [ ODI, t20 and World Cup for juniors]. I think he is now more serious to concentrate on test cricket too.
