Before I decided to join here,I've read some reviews and analysis about mylot cause im afraid if this is just another scam site. And because this is also a money-making site, I also searched how to earn money from mylot. I've read a blog saying this is a pay per post site, you are being paid based on your post but the blogger leave a question saying "Quality or Quantity?" Mylotters I got curious about it, do we earn money because of the quality of our post? or the quantity?

You can earn quality posts rather than quantity posts, but I think you will earn more if you create lots of quality posts. You can combine the two, quantity and quality but doing a lots of posts without quality posts is you don't earn too much.

I don't believe it's paid by post. You can find a lot of answers about mylot by looking at the FAQ's at the bottom of the page. It's very interesting.

hello ctryhnny, thanks for your answer :) mylot is under the PTP sites based on the blogs I've read, well the main question here is how do they calculate our earnings, is it on the quality or the quantity of our post?

How they calculate the earnings is their job. Our job is to fill the pages with quality discussions (and we are told not to discuss the aglorithm).

I think both. I think mylot is a promising website. We can meet many excellent people here. And so that we can creat more opportunities here. We should take every post seriously and write them by our heart. We should take our readers in our heart. So that we can get more response here and make more friend and in there future we can also get unexpected chance here.

I believe, quality that matters everywhere in the world. So stick to post high quality posts with 4-5 sentenses and sure you will be paid more than $0.1 for each of your responses and posts. But quality posts within 1 sentense don't earn you anything. So both are important in myLot.

We are not paid per post here. Please read this topic to understand: http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/2652000.aspx

You are paid according to views, comments and likes. Submitting a hundred post that don't get read or responded to earn you nothing.

Combination of quality and quantity - the more quality comments/questions you have the more your earn. There is no point leaving short answers or asking simplistic questions "what's your favourite colour?' etc... Ask good questions, respond and get some discussions going, the earnings will build slowly but surely..

I have been a member of Mylot for quite a long time and I can ensure you that Mylot is the most reliable online earning website I know so far. It does pay for you as long as you can reach the minimum payout. As to earning from Mylot, of course the quality is better than quantity. If you can post in details for at least several lines, then the paid will be higher in my opinion.

Well, I think posts should be of quality. Instead of just posting a lot of comments with not much sense, you might want to post more quality comments instead. When I was just new here, i got some of my posts deleted so now, i just put quality comments (hope that's what I'm doing here, now)

I will always go for the quality of my post and discussions. Quality always comes first before quantity in this kind of situation. A valid and useful response will always be appreciated than the one that are not. I have read that mylot pays us for the quality of the post and responses that we do and I think quantity comes second. But not so sure about it.

Hi xhanne009! I think its a bit of both. But I'd say I'll go with quality. Because for me personally, I'm not looking at myLot as a money making site. For me its more of a social networking site that you can learn from other myLotters by interacting with them, sharing thoughts and opinion. Sharing interests and hobbies. Im fairly new in myLot but I'm enjoying more in participating in discussions rather than thinking of the amount that I would earn. Dont worry, I'm sure you'll love how myLot works the same way the rest of the myLotters do. :)
