Following flylady's advice Is the first thing you do is shine your sink??? I do sometimes, but not always.... BUT!!!! Doesn't a shiny sink look so nice when its done, and a shame it never seems to stay shiny for very long!!LOL

Upon waking, I plug in the kettle for coffee and then make my bed. I always feel that my bedroom looks tidy if my bed is made

I try to get dress first as our house is so cold, not that it makes me warmer, just gets it out of the way and I then don't have to think about getting dressed in the cold. Next is downstairs and put the kettle on for a few cups of herbal tea before I start on the proper tea, put tumble on and then other jobs. Do like a shiny sink, but I tend to do so much at the sink I would spend all day cleaning it!!

I read a lady who said that after you load the dishwasher, or hand wash your dishes, you should clean the sink, that'll make the rest of the kitchen look a little better. sounds like just another step to this lazy person!

Hello there, Haven't a dish washer, after hand washing my dishes I always do wipe the sides and drainer down with the tee towel before I put the towel in the bucket ot be washed. It always seems a shame to use the sink after you have shined it! I agree with you about another step for this lazy person, whats the point in having a shiny sink if the rest of the kitchen looks like a bomb site

hi, from what I know, sodium bicarbonate or baking soda works well with making a sink shine sice most of the deposits are acidic in nature but in a way it really depends on your water ph. Nothing stays forever perhaps that's one reason we are here in this world, to maintain and see to it that everything is in order perhaps a godly task if if i may say so

Cleaning the sink is usually the last thing I do, as I usually keep going back to rinse my rag or pour the dirty water down it. But it's nice and satifying once it;s all done, but it never stays clean.

Like you I would think it would be the last thing you would clean, for the same reasons.. but it does look nice and clean when you have cleaned it, but as you say it never stays clean!

I know my friend use to clean her sink, then everything else then go back and clean the sink again. I couldnt stop laughing at her, and saying how you cleaned it twice.
