Begging instead of working

I see too many people beg who are capable of working. I see people who beg that are set in their ways. It is one thing to help certain people. To give money to those who refuse to work to change their life is not helping them at all! There are ways to help those who are homeless without giving to charities! If you really want to help someone who is homeless, give them a job where they make money. I see the same people begging for money that never want to work and never will! I did get help becasue of things I know. And have known before I was homeless. There arer ways to help those who are really homeless that do not involve charities at all! Giving money to those who really are homeless that beg everyday is not solving the problem! I see people who are homeless that have cars. Those vehicles can be used to make money. I have ehlped those who need it before. I do not appreciate when someone comes begging just because of something I own! To come up to anyone just because they have a laptop for money is not too smart! That is just as bad as stealing someone's iphone! There is much more that I plan on doing. One thing is really helping those who are homeless get back their feet. The only way possible! For starters, giving them a place to stay, helping them get a job and then into their own place! How many of you are seriously willing to do that?

We have alot of people like that here where I live. Not sure how than do it. But people give them money, food and other items all the time. So why would they work?

Who doesn't like getting things like food, clothes, etc for free? Why work when people give handouts? Why work when you can also steal? To me, work is respecting yourself and caring what happens to you if your homeless and doing whatever you can within the law to change your situation.

It's good to know that you have the heart to make a difference in other people's lives. Giving a home to the homeless would truly be excellent as a starter. However, it would be good to know why they are homeless. Knowing the reason behind will greatly help you to truly identify the right people who deserve your help. Not all homeless deserve a house, although all them need one. Many are too lazy to truly work their way to get their dreams. Begging is not the best option. Being in business is the only legal way to help ourselves to have better lives and be a blessing to others as well.

If Obama wins and Obamacare kicks in to employers...get used to seeing more of this...begging instead of working. With the cost of Obamacare for employers...they won't be able to pay the cost of it, so they are planning to stop full time employment and do only part time...8 part time employees vs. 4 full time. They don't have to pay insurance on part time employees. Olive Garden and other resturants have already said this is what they will be doing right after the first of the year if Obama wins. Ever tried to live on part time income...which also means, no health insurance, no holiday pay, no vacation pay, no retirement/pension pay. Just your hourly pay for 20 - 39 hours a week. (anything under 40 hours a week or 8 hours a day is considered part time)

I cants stand some men on street begging , when I may feel sorry for a child I am not sorry for a grown adult that is always begging .
I agree with you , if we really want to help someone its best to give them a job instead of food and charities . I have seen people with vehicle that are always begging also .

I agree that just giving money to people who are homeless is really not the answer. Because eventually they are still going to be homeless and the next day they will be back out on the street begging for more money just to make it through the day. I think your view on how to help people from not being homeless, is a great idea. There are only certain people that would be willing to do that though and some people are just not made for that. I don't know if I could do that though allow a stranger into my home and just help them. Help them in ways though of where to go so they can get help, that I can do.
There are so many people here where I live, that are homeless and are always on the side of the street begging for money. And most of the time, yes, I see the same people on the side of the street begging for money and yes, some of these people look like they can get off the street and get a job. Here where I am, it is so easy to find a job just about anyone can get a job. You just have to get out there and put out the applications and go to the interviews and there are so many places that homeless people can go to that will help them find a job and even offer them clothes to wear for their interview. Just I see so many people that don't take advantage of that and not go to those places for help. Either I think out of laziness or also they are ashamed to be homeless. And they don't want people helping them. I think though that sometimes, we have to admit that we need help.
There are some people that I see on the street though that they are not even homeless and they are still on the street begging for money. And I just shake my head at that. I really never offer money to a homeless person on the street unless I see that they truly need the money. Such as if it is a mother and child on the street asking for money on the street.
