James Bond 007 movies, do you like newer or older ones better?

I love James Bond movies period! I will admit when Daniel Craig did Casion Royale I was very angry. It just didn't seem like a James Bond movie at all.
But I watched it a second time and I decided to not compare it to the original ones, and I actually like the movie. I still don't think his are the typical James Bond movies, but I have to admit I do like Daniel Craig.
I liked Quatum of Solace pretty good too. Again alot of action. I also like that the producers continued the story line about the girl from the first one that died. The one he fell in love with.
The new one , Skyfall, comes out here this weekend. I am curious to see what they do with that one.

The lads in my house have been to see the film and thought that it was very good indeed.
I'm not really a James bond person but I do watch them on the telly and I do like the old ones and new ones, its very good ot compare them and watch how they have changed over the years to the way they now make films with new ideas etc

hi.. Casino Royale.. is actually supposed to be the first episode of james bond movie back in 1962..but they think its too boring if the spy only hang out in the casino trying to pinpoint where the winning money goes..either to buy more weapons with the winning money or others..etc. so they decided to jump straight to DR.NO in 1962 as the first bond film..
Quantum of solace ..continues where the Casino Royale left off.. and i already seen SKyfall..pretty good ..8/10 this one..a bit confusing..the storyline is either continues after Quantum of solace..or actually" right after Goldfinger..?
u have to see it first..then later on ..we talk more on this subject.

Hello fellow Bond lover and welcome to Mylot! I am a definite fan but I have to say I much prefer the Roger Moore era, mainly because I was brought up on Roger Moore and to me is my favourite Bond of all the actors. It took a long time to get used to Daniel Craig, I keep meaning to see the new Bond Film Skyfall, but probably will wait till it comes on Sky next year hopefully, as the cinema is so expensive. My favourite Bond films are Moonraker and Living Daylights. The music too was much better in earlier James Bond films, maybe I am showing my age.

LOL! Hey I love the first ones better myself! I have to admit though, I do love Sean Connery! He was a great bond! I still love him as an actor even now.
I haven't gotten to see the new one yet either. I'm like you, I will wait because the theater is just too expensive. For my family to just see the movie it is $34.00!! That is insane! And that's without popcorn and drinks...if I add that, it's another $25.00! Can you believe it?????

Hi I like most of the one with roger more since
that was my first james bond film i saw as a kid
I saw in the movies. I did like casion royale
I still like pirece brosan the best he was kind of like
shawn and roger mix I think they should change
the name of james bond to the son of james bond
James Bond Jr the new 007 then do as usual with
the movies , when the new movie get on dvd I see
it to see the new one guy ,movie place are price to high

I liked Bronsan too. But as I said in an earlier post, I like Sean Connery the best. I think they are all great! And yes, I am waiting to see the new one as well. Too expensive to try and go out to see it.

Did you see it???? I haven't had the chance and may have to wait til it comes out on DVD. Don't tell me all about it, but was it good?
