WHY are people doing this? I also hear that it may be illegal and could invalidate your vote. A friend of mine says 'well how will they know, you don't put your name on it' ok, true, but if someone catches you posting it or twittering it everywhere, they could certainly press charges against or fine YOU for having done that, after all, whatever you post on social sites is there forever, isn't it? It's not like you can go around and claim 'oh my account was hacked' blah blah.
HAVE any of you posted a photo of your ballot? WOULD YOU? WHY??

hi,
i am not yet a registered voter in here in my country, but i think its not appropriate to the a registered person to post a photo of there ballot, the government will put some charges with you,and aside from that its not really good even in the eyes of the people who can see it.

I didn't and I wouldn't. I agree, it's inappropriate and people shouldn't be doing it. If you want people to know who you voted for, just say it. There's no need for photographic evidence. I voted for Gary Johnson. If people don't believe me without a photo, that's their problem, not mine.

i know in my state you are not allowed to do that. I think most people didn't know that it's illegal and just wanted to prove to the world that they voted and who they voted for

I would never show a picture of my ballot! I am not sure it's even legal. YOu cannot wear anything with a candidate's name on it (like a hat or tshirt) the the voting location. .. I really think they could get in trouble for showing their ballots.. but not real sure.. I just know i would not share mine!

I would not do it.It seems to be another indictment of how sad and insecure some peoples lives must be that they have to resort to this pitiful attention seeking.
Why would they assume that anyone cares anyway? Privacy should be valued in some cases but it seems that more and more people are glorying in voluntarily baring every single waking thought and emotion to anyone who cares to watch or listen. These people need to get a life.
