With the alarming number of states that are now adopting medical marijuana laws and the precedent setting Colorado and Washington legalization, what is next? Colorado has specific legal wording that is also going to allow the production of commercial and industrial hemp. This will give Colorado citizens a new cash crop that is useful for food, fuel, fiber and a variety of cleaners, nutritive products and building material. I do however fear that with the supreme court and the justice department threatening to sue the state, it might not last long though. I am however hopeful. As a medical patient my life has been saved by marijuana. Just two years ago I was on morphine patches and pills all of the time. My liver hated me. My son hated that I couldn't play in the park. If I didn't follow my pain management regiment then I was too miserable and physically incapable of playing with him. Now with these two biggest state legalization events, I am hoping to see the rest of the country begin to at least adopt medical reform laws. Today is a good day economically and socially for both states. Now people have a safer alternative to alcohol and especially hard drug use. YAY

Weed was made legal here in most of mexico last year. Of course, you can have pounds on you. But you can have a bag. Not sure if the whole idea is working or not. many say they want people to use pot rather than the hard stuff.
