Hello guys!! Im happy to share my experience about homemade preserves and how it gives me extra income. Well, I was wandering around the mall looking for stuff to spend my time. After a while, i saw this book about home canning book that teaches how to make food preserves like jams, reserves, salsas and juices. I tried it immediately and made a simple strawberry jam and sold it to my friends and told me that it was good, so i've been supplying jams now to our local markets and to my friends as well. I've been doing this for a month now and i got to say that it really helped me a lot because i can now buy things for my family like i wasn't able before.
So to all my fellow mylotters out there, it's never too late to try out things that might help you, and who knows that you might be the next big thing!
God Bless us all~!!

Wow, but where do you live?
In our places there is only supermarkets, and I don't think they will buy even if I make so.

Do you have flea markets in your area or maybe a farmers market that sells like once a month or once a week? Those are places you can work to sell your products. Yes sometimes they charge a fee to sell, but if what you have is good, you will make your fee back and more.. :)

There are so many simple things you could possibly do that could give you some income as it could also make you become a household celebrity. If you know how to cook, make things be preserved like a jelly, repair and fix some electronic gadgets,
give tutorial work to failing students in the community or neighborhood, offer massage to people, and other possible things you could do just to add some income but does not bother you current employment. You must be more than a handyman.

that sounds like a jack of all trades man but true. If a person wants to earn fast, they got to do it all besides things that are illegal.

Oh this is great for you and your family..
You can also change the flavors to the holiday that is coming.. like you said Cranberry is popular, is that because of Thanksgiving or just cause they like it. Was just a thought..
Where are you, have you tried doing some online? Maybe some of us mylotters would like a chance to buy a jar or two from you. :)

I also make jams and relishes but I have never sold any. Yet they mean savings for me as I give them as presents for Christmas and birthdays to family and friends. They love them and I don`t spend a lot of money. They are more objects of love

hi,
ah that is a good idea especially today because Christmas holiday is nearly approaching and people are looking for some homemade preserves, and of course it will depend upon the place where you are because here in my place there are seldom families who buy homemade preserves.
