Breeding Betas

I am trying to breed a pair of betas in order to develop a rose tail trait. I have the pair that exhibit the half moon tail. Do i keep on breeding this pair in hopes of getting the rose tail mutation or is there another way?

Some random trivia, in my country, Beta fishes are called fighting fish, anyway youtube have hundreds of video about breeding them, I find them very useful. Those videos have everything you need to learn about them. Currently I have a Lavender colored Cambodian beta, its male and he have no mate, I tried breeding years ago and they were easy to breed, learned everything from youtube, I quit breeding though as I dont have much time.
