The Lamp

Thy Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my part. It shines in my heart and across my path.It brightens my eyes and lightens my darkness. It leads me in the path of righteousness and keeps me from all evil. Thy word is powerful, sharper than any two edged sword.

Hi gabland111 greetings. And Welcome to the club. The Word of course refers to the Word of God which also defined as truth (John 17:17) and which are forever settled in heaven (Ps. 119:89).

The Word is the two edged sword that God wields.. As he says we need to use this sword to win the battles of life.

I think its a "light to my path." How wonderful are those verses. The word will never return back empty to God too, it will do something for the person. We should always read God's word. Thanks for this.

His word is our guide in how we live this world. In there He speaks, He comforts, He disciplines and He rebukes. its the greatest treasure we have. The very Words of the Maker are summed up on the book of life. Basis Instruction Before Living Earth (BIBLE)
