How early do you put up a Christmas tree

I like to celebrate one holiday at a time and have my Thanksgiving decorations out right now. The weekend after Thanksgiving I will take all of that stuff down and then do the Christmas decorations. I get the tree only a week, week and a half before Christmas as I like Fresh trees but not the fire hazard of a dried out tree. I have a friend though who cannot wait and has not one but 4 trees in the house. One in the living room, one in the family room, one in the office and one in the foyer all are at least 5 foot high!

I love xmas, but I always wait till the friday after thanksgiving day to put up the tree. I wish i could have it up all year round. I love xmas.

No, don't have the tree up yet. Like you mentioned, it's a bit early for that although I'm in a Christmas mood for some reason or another, haha. I was Christmas shopping today, just sort of looking around at prices, etc. Problem was, I ended up getting something for myself! I normally put the tree up in the beginning of December. I buy a real tree so I don't want it to dry out too quickly. They usually last pretty good for me all the way into January, if I buy it around that time. I've had a real tree every year, except one, since I was a little tyke. I'm 65 now so that's a long, long time, and have had 64 trees. Good grief, I sound as old as dirt right now. Anyways, I'm still in the mood so that's good. I'm ready for the music too.

We put up our christmas tree about two weeks before christmas, any earlier takes the specialness out of it. We take our tree down on New Year's Day if not a day earlier as we like ot get all the mess tidied up before my hubsband goes back to work

My mom usually put up the Christmas Tree as early as October! She really gets excited to fill the house with Christmas ornaments and each time I wuld see them, I fell like I am back to my younger days.

As early as October actually. I love Christmas but ever since I left home, I haven't had a real Christmas and this year, I don't think that I'm going to put up a Christmas tree since we don't have one.

We usually put the tree up before December 10. I have to ger hold of my granddaughter and see when she can come and help. I can't stand very long and hubby has a bad back, so we need her help.

Hi there, I don;t have any peticular time to put it up anymore. I used tpo be anxious to put it up when my grandsons were small but they are 13 and 19 so the Santa Claus is over...and I also use to put up a big tree, but last year I put up a cute table top 3 footer...because I am the one who has to put it up and take it down... But probably sometimes after Thanksgiving, it will be up....

When I was a kid, we usually put up our Christmas tree as early as October for we have the tradition of doing that in the same month. But as you, we live in a busy road where all the cars and jeepneys passes by, a lot of dust so to speak, will be gathered by our tree, because our tree is positioned near the window. And so we clean the trunk and the leaves for almost everyday. Maybe, we got tired of it, that's why,now, for the past few years, we are setting it up on a December, the first week to be exact. Still, we enjoyed it, by seeing it especially at night, I love those lights that are spread on it's trunks and leaves. Thanks

I may put one up early. My brother called me last night and said someone gave him a fake tree. I told him to put it up in his home. he said what if we put it up in your internet cafe this saturday. i told him that was a great idea. So I guess I get a tree after all. Never to early to start xmas.

Most people I know make a point to put up their Christmas tree right after Thanksgiving. I do not have mine up yet but I also only have a Snoopy Christmas Tree. That was the greatest Christmas decoration for single people across America. Lol, every brought one last year and it was the first tree I've had in years.

Yesterday we decorate our home with Christmas decors. But this year we don't have Christmas Tree but I do really to decorate stuff Christmas tree. We don't have money to buy new Christmas tree because here it cost as much as 5 kilos of chicken. So we just put on lantern and some glittering stuff on the wall to make it attractive.

I have not had a Christmas tree for many years now. This is surprising really because for a long time it was so very important to me, but the novelty seemed to wear off and I simply never bothered to purchase a new one. I often see a few trees very early in various houses and companies, but so far I have not seen any this year. I imagine that they will soon start to appear, and as sonn as one person puts up a Christmas tree then others will rapidly follow.

I do not have my tree up. I always wait til after Thanksgiving or at least the night of Thanksgiving. As I think Thanksgiving is a good holiday and I do celebrate it in my home. I do not like to combine holidays. But celebrate them separately. It is a tradition I have started with my first child 21 years ago and has stuck. The kids know when mom will put up the tree. I do have a relative who has a tree up all year long. Lights it only during the holiday season.

we usually put up the tree around the second week of December and then leave it up until after News Years. around the end of the first week in January is when we take it down. my hubby doesn't like it to be up too early. this year, however, we will probably wait until the middle of the month because that is when our daughter is coming home for Christmas from college.

I put mine up the day after Thanksgiving. I bought a new artificial tree last weekend (because it was on sale). Next weekend we will be bringing our Christmas things out of storage and then the day after we will be decorating the house. I will probably make something simple like pizza. I put a lot of things up for Christmas.
