Yes, it feels good when your clients appreciate your works. All my clients are very satisfied and pleased with all my crochet projects. That inspires me to do crocheting even if it eats up my free time. I am sleeping really late at night this past two days. My husband and I are working and helping each other with all the made to order crochet items. I received many made to orders now and as a thank you, I organize a giveaway. Oh well, Christmas is fast approaching so I will expect more orders to come. God is really good to us. Happy mylotting!

wow.. that good i think, not all people can have the patience when it come in making a craft, like crochet.
i just start crochet almost half year now.
i enjoy doing it, but it just take my time too much when to finish something.
one thing that i like is, when u start to crochet something, the feeling to finish it is so high, like u cannot wait so long to see the finish product, that the most thing i like when s start to love this work.
i hope ,i will not loss my passion toward this field

ungu89 - i was crocheting many years ago.. my grand mother taught me how to make footie slippers and I took off from there after I got married. I made afghans FOR EVERYONE and sweater sets from my daughter when she was born. I made so many afghans...I finally had to stop. I gave them as gifts and no one wanted them so I made waht I could use and then stopped. But that is a great thing to be doing while watching TV..that is when I did it mostly. Don't loose your passion...space it out...once you get that first one finished...you'll be hooked. I know what you mean about them taking long time..but do it while watching tv and you'll just be single and doubleing and in an hour, you'll be surprised how far you have gone! I used to do it while watching my friday night lineup...Dallas and then Falcon Crest.
One thing I have found... have 2 projects going at once... I get tired of doing the same stitches, seeing the same colors. I loved doing the Shadow Box stitch and the popcorn stitch...but over and over and over...and the same color...tends to make it get boring..so I'd switch...work on one for a few days, then switch. Really helped keep the momentum going!

This must be so satisfying for you. I hope this continues, at a reasonable rate, of course, as you need to sleep.

When you have worked hard on a project, there's nothing better than job satisfaction and the sense of achievement and appreciation for your work! It gives you inspiration and incentive to continue knowing that the end result pays off. Congrats on your projects and indeed success, keep up the good work, I am sure the orders will continue to come flooding in for you!

Yeah that's true. It's very fulfilling especially if you see the outcome turns out beautiful and the clients really like them. Actually, I am not earning much and I don't sell them really expensive but that's okay. I love what I am doing and that's what important. Thank you for the response.

I feel really blessed. Though I had a buyer who ordered from me and don't get the items after reserving for a long time. I am almost tempted to post her as a bogus buyer but then I don't. Because I am just blessed to think about people like her. Thank you for the response.

Wow..that is so great shylade! I wish I could be that good! For years I sewed and made so many great things.. I thought I was pretty good at it and was told my stuff was really great...but sadly, no one ever bought any! But good for you that you were able to achieve this! I am a quilter...intermediate. I am hoping to get good enough one day to sell them, but at the same time... they are not cheap to make and most don't want to spend $100 for a blanket..no matter what it is!! But I keep quilting! That is christmas gifts this year for my grand kids..they each get a quilt made by me, tailored to their own likes!

Hello! Wow quilting! I also want to learn that. You are right, they are not really cheap to make unlike crocheting. I am selling my made to order items at such a low price. It is just enough for me to earn even just a little because I am enjoying what I am doing. Thank you for sharing!

I know how it feels going to bed late. I am a graduate student and am working on my assignments so I can spend most of the weekend getting my earrings done so I can sell them online. I hope that they will sell since jewelry is a very popular thing to sell. In addition I am also working on homemade gifts to give for Christmas. I am glad that your clients appreciate your work. I hope it is helping you financially as well.
