TV shows come later to my country and I`m sure that people in the US already shaw what I just did today: the first episode of "Last resort". For me it was a different and very good alternative to the several shows that I have seen lately. Have you seen it? Did you like it? How was the rating where you live? I also think that the actors are all very good. Your opinion?

I never started watching it because from the looks of it, I figured it would have a political angle and knowing Hollywood and the TV industry it would make a conservative government be the bad guys. There have just been too many shows on that are biased to the left.

Much of the TV network news media is biased toward the left and the Democrats. Many of the TV shows and movies are also biased in that direction as are most of the Hollywood celebrities. It is obvious when reporters do interviews of candidates for office and in the plots and writing of many TV shows. Republican candidates always have an uphill battle when it comes to news coverage and interviews.

I haven`t seen many shows from the US that are biased to the left, as I understand what lef is. But I am not an american resident and from the outside, as I see it, republicans and democrats are not leftists. But political corruption is something else and it can occur anywhere.

I understand what Stealthy is saying, as many of the actors voted Democrat in California and New York, as both states have voted that way in many elections including the one that just occurred. The exception was when Ronald Reagan was elected, who ran as a Republican, as he switched parties felt the Democrats left him.

My husband is trying to talk me into watching Last Resort. He likes the show and wants me to help the shows ratings. The network did give the show more episodes, so I may check it out soon.

I liked it, but if I were you, I`d try to see if I can watch the first chapter.

This is the kind of show that can be difficult to understand unless you've seen it from the first show or have it explained to you. What makes it worse is that the show has been losing viewers from week to week. Both of those things makes it likely that this show will be cancelled and the real questions is how long will it last and will they allow a concluding episode to be filmed that resolves all the questions.

I know its losing viewers and the ratings have been sinking. This is the reason I still haven't seen the show yet. My husband was trying to convince me today that I should watch it, as he says its really good.

I like the show too. It has an original premise and usually quite exciting action. And I agree the acting has been quite good. Unfortunately, the ratings have been disappointing so far here in the US -- that's not so much because people have watched it and didn't like it but rather because they've never given it a try. Unfortunately, when a show starts out low it usually doesn't improve as the season goes on, and Last Resort isn't exactly an easy show to to join in progress. However, I actually think the story could be told in one season (wouldn't it be hard to maintain the same tension over several years?) so maybe we'll get a satisfying ending even if the show is not renewed.

I would not want that show (or any for that matter) to go on for several years. I used to love Horatio Caine in CSI Miami, but now I loathe everyone of his gestures, the way he puts on his glasses, the way he repeats his sentences. I guess we can only tolerate our loved ones for a long time

Hello marguicha, I don't know how i can judge the show, it's a small coup in a submarine. i don't know why US government wants them killed but i can understand why they went rouge in the first place. can you imagine this happening in real life, they would have a real international problems in their hands.

I suppose that later on we will know who wants to create an international problem. I don`t even think that it is the US government, but some corrupt politician. In the chapter I saw (the first) we can see why they disobeyed the orders they got.

I saw that this series is one of the highest rated recently. I am planning to watch this too. It is a bit intriguing. However, I usually watch tv series after the season already ended so I can have a series marathon.

I don`t mind watching both and having the marathon as a rerun. I have my TV in my room so I watch TV from my bed. Many times I fall asleep instead of watching the show
