Hello Lotters, To be honest i don't know what's the hype but the media reporting about this election. they said that their process is embarassing! and yet when we voted here, it was a lot worse because teh results comes in after a couple of months while them worked over night. Now back this last election. It's very hard to believe that some pinoys would actually be a republican at one point, some one like Dr. Agana went on saying Obama is hitler, or stalin. that's really name calling and despite of her credentials she has no political experience, am ashamed she has to filipino calling some one like that. btw, am sure that most filams there voted for OBAMA because of his immigration issues that is favorable to the immigrants and TNT's. but for republicans they wanted the number from outside should be lowered and some should be deported. whom do you think filams voted the most?

I guess many Filipinos abroad voted for Obama. Because Obama protects the rights of the TNT who lived in the U.S.

Hello toxic, some said they voted for him because of his health care reform that to most it's working. there's just to many things to consider but immigration is the most reasonable explanation why Obama was favored mostly by the people, specially by the Latino voters. most people say republicans are for the rich

I have no idea but I have the inkling that they voted for Obama too because he is known to support a much lighter policy regarding immigration. But I know my Father In Law there was very much republican so I think I know who he voted for in this election.

Hello Rsa101, I don't know republican ideals but i am sure they are more nationalistic in my own point of view with them. Maybe you should ask more what the principles of the republicans, but i know they are more nationalistic to their country and not favorable to the foreigners. they are conservatives

From what I read, not just Filipino-Americans but also most non-white Americans voted overwhelmingly for Obama. Even my relatives in the U. S. voted for him. For their part they like Obama's healthcare programs, that's why they voted for him.

Hello Silentwill, wow ok i thought most of them voted for Obama because of support for immigration reform. so that means Romney's health care plan sucks from the start. well, it's in that country now and has nothing to do with us anyways except we get paid for what we do online. Have anice day

i believe that too. Fil-ams are more likely voted for Obama because of immigration issues that Obama wants to settle for.

Hello blebchel, the immigration issues are obviously the reason why Obama has won of it. but on the news on both popular news network stations, they are more focus on the latino votes which are truly dominating. they will sure never let go of Obama because they believed in him and he's more related to the middle class families.

based on the reports lots of Fil-Am voted in favor of President Obama. At the very first election which Obama won, Filipino really trust Obama since he promise to pay for the lump sum benefits of all the WWII Filipino veterans US citizen and non-US and that promise made into reality. Obama said Filipinos are closed to him, that's why he is in favor of immigration issues concerning all Fil-Am or even those that are not Filipino. The President promise equality.

Hello mrsuniega, I think not only him but it was also supported by congressman Ron Paul too in his last interview with CNN. I never heard Obama being closed to the filipinos i wonder when did that happened? maybe i should check on the articles if there is such videos. I think Obama is just being fare knowing he was also an immigrant before he could actually become a citizen
